Restaurant is now under renovation, so it is not available. Across the street, there is a McDonald's which opens early in the morning. There are many homeless people around that. Gym is also under renovation. Pool - the same.

- perfect location, right next to Santa Monica Pier and walkable to many restaurants - clean and spacious room, comfortable bed - nice toiletries, light but powerful hair dryer (sorry i have thick hair), quality robe - they have water machines which is very convenient - plastic-free: they provide reusable water bottle for you to refill water

- valet parking was waaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive, they charge $60 per night but for safety's sake we dare not to park elsewhere - no facility available except your room and valet parking...no restaurant/gym/pool whatsoever, the hotel is under renovation. Thus the expensive resort fee makes no sense at all. - front desk staff was absent when we check out in the early morning...valet parking staff told us to put leave the room keys on the table. I felt quite unsecured about the arrangement. - this is not about the hotel but there are homeless around the area, so, beware when you are out after sunset.

Our room was exceptionally clean and newly remodeled. Great view and the staff was very helpful. My son loved that they gave us a free water bottle to keep as a momentum of our stay. The location was amazing - easy walk to the pier, shopping and restaurants. The only disappointment was that the hotel was still under renovation. It would have been nice to have that disclosed at time of booking. A little hard to swallow to pay for resort fees and not have the ability to enjoy the facilities. The staff was very nice - we had problems with our room key - computer error - and the young lady who helped us was patient and kind. The hotel is at the base of the Santa Monica Pier and the 2nd Street Promenade - just 1 block from both and easy walking distance to everything else. Not having to hunt or pay extra for parking, taxi or Uber was a great convenience. If another occasion brings us to the area, I would definitely stay again. - PS we arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to check in before allocated time. Very much appreciated.

It would have been nice since the hotel was under renovations, to have the resort fees taken off or at least been given a discount since were not able to use the full facilities.

Location next to the Pier in Santa Monica and all great restaurants and shops.

Restaurant and swimming pool are under renovation but I knew it when booking the hotel and it was not a problem.

Comfortably modern rooms which we loved. The staff are very accomodating. The hotel offers filtered water which is very good. Best location to visit Sta Monica Pier, Venice and the beach. Very near to the shops, resto and the metro. Just in front of Mc Donalds if you like an easy breakfast. The bike center is just right the corner. They store lugagges if you want to still go around the town after check out which we really appreciated.

The women staff at the front desk were a bit racist. We have not experienced it by ourselves but we saw what we saw with the new incoming foreign guests that don’t really speak english well. Rude for hanging up the phone.

Walking distance to the Santa Monica Pier. Many evening places to eat and drink. One breakfast spot across the street. Modern furniture in a creative space. May need earplugs for the freeway noise, but that is LA. Complimentary wine on arrival was very nice. Friendly staff. Nice soaps and shampoos. Easy to use shower.

Our timing could have been better. Pool and onsite restaurant were closed during our stay. Bathroom door flaws were painted over instead of repaired. Did not deter from fun had in the area.

The astronomical HIGH PRICE Now… (double of what it was, when I stayed then!) Terribly bad crowds, loud, profane, dirty homeless all over. I don’t like that the hotel raised the prices to double , now that their Restaurant is finished being renovated! Too crowded, too nasty outside (with the sketchy crowds)

Great Location, friendly staff, & very clean. The location is beyond amazing. The beach is literally as close as can get. Once the pool, restaurant, and bar are in place, this will be the absolute perfect spot.

The price for not having the pool ready. The pool was not finished and the restaurant were not finished. It was a bit expensive for not having the pool/bar/restaurant.

Best location you can get close to pier beach shops etc and when our toilet got blocked we got a free upgraded room with a late check and a bottle of wine also Juliet was fantastic when i had a problem with my car i got EXCELLENT Service from her and rest of the staff i would definitely stay again

Nothing was all prettu good maybe parking is a little expensive
