The breakfasts were wonderful. Very nice and polite cook and server. A variety of foods and drinks. It was wonderful meeting the other guests. Very enjoyable mornings! We met other guests at the wine evenings and that was a real plus. The staff was all exceptional but Richard and Stella went way and above to help us. Stella. was very kind about us needing to check out early. We would have stayed the entire time but we just weren’t getting any rest. The parking for disabled guests was great and elevator and room location was perfect.

Our bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were too heavy, and for it being an accessible room the bed was way too high and the side of the tub was difficult for me to step over. It wasn’t their fault but construction across the street, concrete pumping days, were loud and annoying

We were lucky enough to get one of the cottage creek rooms that overlooked a small creek that ran through the property surrounded by red wood trees. The room came little patio area that enabled us to make acquaintances with a doe and fawn who had made their way into the tree lined space. The bed was very comfortable, room decorated beautifully, and the spacious bathroom had a large vanity, soaking tub, and shower. We didn't make it to breakfast or the wine/cheese tasting due to our schedule but saw many other patrons making their way into the lounge area that morning. The location is perfect and is a quick walk to many of the cute shops, restaurants, and bars in the area. It's also a very short drive to Muir Woods.

Parking in the main lot was a bit tight but there is another lot that can accommodate a few larger vehicles.

Mill Valley itself is quiet, but the location was good for Muir Woods and the Marin headlands. Its much more of a small town than Sausalito. The hotel was lovely, well maintained, good WIFi. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold options daily and a nice wine and cheese spread in the evenings. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They even are standing by during breakfast to make a cappuccino or espresso drink in addition to the regular coffee. There is also a lovely quiet deck for outdoor eating. We were walking distance to the center of town. I guess its a post pandemic thing, but the shops all seem to close around 6 pm or earlier. Dinner service seemed to really tail off after 830pm too. I'd definitely book again.

The whole atmosphere was wonderful. Stayed in the Creek House. Felt like we were in an enchanted forest with the brook and sequoia trees outside our door! The variety of both hot and cold breakfast foods was incredible. Bed was super comfy and the decorating felt high end. We loved everything about it including the very friendly and helpful staff.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Just a great, perfect getaway. Thank you!

The property is located within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a gorgeous redwood park. The happy hour and breakfast were included and were lovely. Overall, an awesome place to stay in a charming town.

No elevator to our room and my car got dinged in the parking lot because there are no lines painted and someone parked really close.

Breakfast was really nice. Staff was very helpful. The happy hour was pleasant surprise. My wife and I made friends with a couple from Belgium and a couple from Chicago.

We had to leave the door open to enjoy the fresh air. Working windows would have been appreciated. Thank you.

The inn is in a great location for very expensive shopping and restaurants.

We checked in a little later in the evening .. 8 ish or so and the lady that checked us in must have had a long day… not a warm and friendly welcome or a lot of help with the area. The following day when I stopped by the gentleman was very helpful and kind. The room we stayed in you could definitely hear a conversation thru the walls.

Lovely setting overlooking redwood trees. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a wide array of healthy food options! The location in Mill Valley was perfect homebase to explore, hike, and enjoy Marin.

Great location in the centre of Mill Valley. The room was exceptionally clean and was comfortable. Breakfast was superb; as was the goodie bag of treats.

The bed was very high and bouncy, so that when one of us turned over, the other person got bounced around; waking each of us up. The room wasn't serviced for one of the days we were there, so we had to make our own bed etc. – the price paid was quite expensive for a hotel with no frills.

We were upgraded to cottage for free. The room was so cozy and clean. We just loved the tall tress right in front of our cottage. One of the loveliest hotels I have ever been to in the US and also elsewhere. (Breakfast was also great! & fireplace in the room- fun!) Will be definitely back if we come nearby.

Almost nothing. However, if there were indoor slippers in the room, that would have been perfect. Also no door to washing/bath area, which could be uncomfortable for some people.
