First, they upgraded me for both my overnight stays having read my request for the highest floor possible (and comically I got the same exact room). The room was quite large and well equipped, the bathroom also was large and nice. The sound proofing seemed better than most. WiFi was easy to connect to and seemed quite fast for hotel WiFi. The included breakfast was good for what you can expect from hotel limited buffet breakfasts.

The location was excellent and close to the winery and brewery tours we went to. The hotel room was very nice and clean, room with two queens was roomy and didn’t feel cramped, beds were very comfortable, refrigerator was a great size, bathroom was very roomy, great fresh looking decor and excellent breakfast! Staff was nice and very accommodating especially the kitchen staff.

Don’t have any suggestions except maybe having a bigger store to buy snacks.

Every staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂

What I didnt like that the room door has a big gap on the bottom and with children you can hear the noise and me having autism son and the other with adhd you can hear the noise from the hall. Not just my room but I heard other rooms too n I can hear the conversation. So I would change adjust the door with more sound prove because on our last day of stay. Someone complained we made alot of noise when we just had gotten in the room with my family 5 min n I get a knock on my door that we are being loud so 🙃 yeah other than that I wouldn't make Any other change I loved the stay and will definitely come back. Room, location, and cleanliness. Front desk HORRIBLE. Had ZERO clue about wineries and YOUR A HOTEL IN WINE COUNTRY. She was aloof, didnt care, and truly shouldnt be the first experience your guests have upon checking in.

Our suite was a good size, clean and with a well-equipped kitchen. The balcony was a good size & we appreciated having furniture on it so that we could sit out.

The reception staff were polite enough but not overly friendly, didn't speak clearly & certainly didn't explain everything I needed to know, unless I asked a specific question. The breakfast staff did their job without a smile or a good morning.

I had a confirmation, in writing, that my daughter could check-in with my credit card as she was arriving a day early. she was not allowed to do so and it caused a tremendous amount of stress. This happens every time we stay at La Quinta for horse shows in Paso Robles and it’s very frustrating to have written approval prior and not have it honored.

The bed was comfortable, pillows seemed to have different heavy-to-light weight, coverings light for hot June nights. TV was good. As advertised the breakfast was great for the most part.

No TV listing of which channels were available. Had to ask at the desk. Went into the bathroom to find coffee grounds (from a Keurig?) were in the washbasin. So we had to call down and wait for the plumber (very quick), who plunged it all out and cleaned it up. Re breakfast: skip Edna's Bakery pastries in the cellophane. Two of them tasted stale and like they had been packaged weeks ago. Disappointing.

Close by to the event we were attending and next leg of our trip. Dog friendly, lots of room around facility to walk my dog, lots of bag stations in designated areas to walk him and were filled with complimentary pick up bags.

Only 1 blanket on the bed, no extra in closet like many hotels used to do although the desk person had one delivered to my room in just a few minutes.

The meal was fine. Hotel was very clean and accommodating to our request as to no handicap room and highest floor.

Coffee was terrible. Didn’t know WiFi was not included, didn’t use it. If there is a charge for WI-FI I will not return. When we checked out, front desk person with the nose rings was not very friendly, certainly not as friendly as when we checked in. He was so nice.

They accommodated my request for a top floor room. The decor was very nice including a lot of plants. Front desk provided a free map of wineries when asked.

A/C unit blew straight up into the curtains when closed at night which prevented room from cooling down so had to set temp much lower than usual.
