The hotel itself, swimming pool, and room was very clean, and quiet! The staff is friendly. I asked if we could check-in early and was able to check in 2-hrs early and requested if we can check-out late and was able to stay 1-hr after the check out time. I called the receptionist around 9pm requesting for extra pillows and blankets, but was told that housekeeping was closed, but she said she will bring them in for us and within 5 minutes she was at the door knocking! Excellent customer service!

Free breakfast was not impressive, but it's free, can't really complain :)

The breakfast was so so. To be honest, I only tried it once during my stay and it was interrupted by a woman who said we were late, but we can have the so called left overs, when there was clearly plenty of food still. Then she proceeded to ask us if we were told the hours. Very rude, I felt so uncomfortable that I decided to put down my plate before serving myself and decided to leave instead.

just a couple small things. The bathroom door could not be left open, so the bathroom got warm after my shower, and was humid. 🙁 The nightlight in the bathroom consisted of two tiny lights on the outlet. The shower was strange - twice, the shower sprayed all over the floor, despite really trying to keep the curtain inside the tub. No hangers anywhere! None in the closet.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very clean, wonderful and friendly staff. We were a bit further away from Sequoia National Park than we expected, but not the hotels fault. The walls were a bit thin and had noisy 'neighbors' for a bit of the time but overall I would recommend it and stay there again if in the area.

I was at least 10 hitels from this type but this was the best from all of them. Great and polite staff, best breakfast with real omlett and wide selection of fruits, and many other options. landery was great. Room was super clean. Pool is also great... Recommand it big time!

I liked how clean and kept up the Holiday Inn hotel. I was very impressed and glad I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn. The location was perfect for my daily travels to work.

Didn't care for the area. I'll be kind and say interesting area. The rate was too expensive for that part of town. I had never been, but decided to book since it was on my way to another location from Sequoia National Park.

The location was good. There aren't many hotels in Porterville. Wish it was a little cheaper. It was clean. Room had everything I needed.

The price is about the only thing I didn't like.
