Hampton Inn & Suites Tulare

My husband and I have stayed here a few times and loved the front desk clerk and have only been charged a deposit fee of 50$ to possibly 100$ maybe the most. This time the clerk said the deposit fee is $200 now. Which didn't seem correct because I have stayed there before and while I was waiting to be checked in I overheard the customer checking in before me for 2 nights and the clerk said her deposit was $100. How is mine $200. That was more than what I paid for the room.

Location and Breakfast. Fortunately, I got the last of the oatmeal and was told that it would be 30 minutes before there was more!!! That would have upset me!!!!'The price was high - due to my mistake - I clicked on "Studio" instead of simple King.

The woman at check-in seemed to have some serious issues which she "shared" with us. She was an extreme opposite to the welcome we received at the Hampton Inn at the Fresno Airport.

This hotel is still one of the best options in the city. It is clean, modern, and with plenty of seating, the king suite allowed family to relax with us.

I truly wish this property would put time and effort into renovating their pool and should add a nice jacuzzi. They charge more for the rooms than pre-pandemic, so one would think they could afford it.

The young lady at the desk was so helpful. After checking in she called my room to ask me if everything was okay with my room. I really appreciated that. She also gave me a list of recommended restaurants to eat at when I mentioned I was going to go get something to eat. She also gave me some coupons to the restaurant I mentioned I was going to eat at. I will be coming back to the area next month and will stay there for sure just because of her. Sweetest girl ever.

There were a few pieces of chips in the chair cushion. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

wanted something on the first floor because of my husband is overweight but could not accommodate because of availability but they put close to elevator

The breakfast was not what I expected they had trix yogurt, we stayed at other hotels and they had better food I thought because it was Hamptons by Hilton they would have better selection and there juice machine was broken.

A big shout out to the amazing staff; particularly the receptionist. I wish I knew her name, but she is the best!!!! Once you encounter her, you won't forget her.. this was our 2nd time staying at the Hampton & she is the best part of it. She is what customer service should be. Also, Our room was clean, comfortable & excellent prices.

The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly.

I did not like that there was no security at night and my vehicle was vandalized. I did report the incident to reception but now it will be an extra cost for me to fix.

Convenient location for us as we were in town for a wedding. Staff was nice and accommodating.

The breakfast wasn’t that great (nothing hot) and the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or taken care of in days. It was so hot outside and a nice dip in the pool was welcome, but we didn’t dare go in it because it looked so gross. Also, the pool towels were seriously the size of a hand towel.

I liked that they had hot water to make hot cocoas or hot tea in the lobby when we first arrived because we traveled from Southern California. We were both exhausted and thirsty.

There’s honestly nothing I didn’t like! The beds were SO comfortable, the staff was helpful, there was free breakfast in the morning, and our room was super cute and cozy.

Very pleasant stay, nice and clean with friendly staff. The breakfast was decent and a nice little pool area outside. Overnight security patrols in the parking lot seemed to do a good job of keeping everyone's vehicles safe.
