Comfort Suites Visalia Convention Center

It was inside the town center which is nice. Parking was conveniently located and easy. Staff was very friendly. Room was amazing and very up to date with comfy beds and a nice shower. It was a very large room. It's a great place to stay if you want to visit Sequoia national park. Also being able to walk to the town center is great, Wimpy's hamburgers is a good recommendation, the best burgers I ever had!

Breakfast with foam plates and plastic cutlery...for the price we paid that is totally unacceptable. I hope it's a temporary covid thing and not a weird American standard practice. Expensive for European standards. I think I also found a bedbug in my bed, and the covers were not changed because I noted some blood stains (from myself) that were still there the next 3 days..

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice but needs a little TLC. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location is close to several eateries within walking distance. Overall, I would give the room 4.5 Stars out of 5.

At check-in I informed the receptionist that there were only two of us and asked if there were any discounts for AAA or AARP. She politely told me that a discount had already been given. I am assuming she was referring to the online booking. Asked for a receipt and said i would receive it from the third party booking in email. So I wasn't too happy about that she could not accommodate my request. Also you need to let your guests know that they need to exit the parking garage before turning in their room key.

Nice and welcoming staff. Room was spacious and nicely arranged with a small living room area and kitchenette. Towels and bed sheets were new and fresh. Good breakfast options offered. Protected parking was also a big plus.

There was a lot of noise from the street outside especially late at night (1 am) which made it hard to sleep. The aircon was very loud.

The hotel is like any other Comfort Suites as far as design and amenities. The location is right next to Main Street, with a short walk to multiple dining options. (We really liked the Sequoia Brewing Co.) It has free garage parking. We used it as a base while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The bed was quite firm. Breakfast has very little fresh fruit, only a basket containing apples or oranges, and the breakfast room is cramped and hot.

The location is excellent, close to Downtown restaurants, convention center and bank Staff was very well dressed, friendly and check in was quick The breakfast was typical and not much to chose from, but the dining area was very well kept and clean

Access to the garage is awkward and not able to go directly from the rooms to the parking lot. That would help, specially if it is raining The worst part was we notice cockroaches in the room during our second night stay.

Super friendly and professional reception staff. Nice, spacious unit, with a sleeping area and a lounge area with a sofa and a television in each. Fridge, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board. Comfortable beds of a decent size. Great air-conditioning. Designated parking space. Breakfast on site.

The only thing that would make our stay better would be a pool.

I visited Visalia for a conference that was held at the convention center, located directly across the street from the hotel. The location was perfect for me to get back and forth to meetings. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The parking was convenient, my conference wasn't over until well after check out but was allowed to stay parked in the hotel area for the duration of my conference. The breakfast was very tasty and a nice change from a continental breakfast that is served at so many other places.

If you want a standard hotel in Downtown Visalia for a good price, this is the place to book. It is across the street from the convention center, around the corner from the hospital, around the corner from a movie theatre, and walking distance to a number of restaurants and bars. This was my second time staying here and I will probably stay again.

As with many hotels, the walls are thin. You can hear people walking up and down the hallway and in the adjacent rooms. Thankfully my neighbors were quiet. I hope the hotel can be renovated within the next year or two.

The hotel is located near the convention center in old town Visalia. The room was large and comfy. The breakfast offered said continental but it was a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, yogurt, muffins, waffles, hard boiled eggs and beverages. The offering was from 0530 to 0930. It was perfect.

Nothing. It was spectacular and the perfect end to our vacation.

Visalia seems to be a relatively lively town in the Central Valley, near the southern entrance to Sequoia National Park. Although the hotel seems designed for proximity to the Visalia Convention Center, most guests were (like me) park visitors. There were lots of families taking advantage of the spacious suites. Lots of dining choices in close proximity.

The single elevator was very slow and not up to the demands placed on it.
