SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Redding

We stayed here as a short overnight and were not able to get breakfast. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are clean and convenient from the parking area. There is a designated area for trailer/truck parking which was useful since we were a bit apprehensive about entering the narrow looking parking lot with a trailer.

It would have been nice to be able to have early breakfast, but there is a breakfast restaurant close by so that worked for us. The room we had was a bit small, but since we were literally there to sleep for 7 hours, it didn't matter.

The double queen pet-friendly room was clean and spacious. It had a fridge with freezer so we could refreeze our blue ice. Good location, just off freeway, within walking distance of fast food after a long day of driving. Instead we went downtown to Final Draft brewing that had heated patio and dogs were allowed.

There was some confusion on pet fee. We called ahead to make sure we were assigned room for pets. Then we were charged for pet fee twice but they fixed it before we checked out. Not a real problem.

The breakfast was not satisfactory. I'm allergic to eggs. All the cereal is loaded with sugar as were the muffins. One muffin was chocolate and I thought it was bran which would have been my preference. I ate one tangerine and half a muffin. I don't drink coffee. Best Western needs to rethink their breakfast food. Americans eat too much sugar. How about quality whole grain bread instead of junk food.

We traveled from Portland and experienced a detour 2 hours in. So getting here was about 8 hours. Our greeting guests was fabulous. We booked because dog friendly. We brought dog sheets, but they had dog friendly covers. We were placed at a ground level which we appreciate with dogs. Small dog walking area but suitable. Nice option for breakfast to satisfy our needs. Great value based on the price during our off season mid week stay.

I love the jacuzzi tubs here! The rooms are very nice sized and always pretty clean and in good repair

I hate that they charge a pretty large cash deposit if you have a local address on your ID, and no real clarity on what is considered "local" or not, and no consistency even on the amount of the deposit but $200 to $300 cash plus the room fees is a little bit excessive I think.

If you're traveling with a truck and trailer they have actual parking just for that! The staff was great. Every single person we encountered said something as you passed them. The lady handling the breakfast was constantly overlooking everything to make sure it was full for the next person.

I'm not saying it's bad cause the building was upkept very well but it's a little older feeling.

We've stayed in this motel before. A hidden place, quiet, clean with a great breakfast included. Courteous staff. And close to everything. We will come again.

Booked in a room with the bed we requested but a different room than we expected. We were kindly accommodated and given a different room. Greatly appreciated.

Excellent warm breakfast was provided. Staffs are very friendly & helpful.

Just one thing was our room door had very hard time to push in after even inserted a room card key. So, we had to use strong force to hit a door to go into our room. It would be nice if they fix that door asap for next visitors. Except that, everything was great.

The morning breakfast was very nice with many options to choose from, great for the kids. Especially enjoyed the heated indoor pool area. Liked the security of the entry doors at all entrances. Likes that the location wasn't right off the freeway.

I was blown away with the room, the price and atmosphere. my 4 year old autistic son celebrated easter there and he loved it. They had mirrors behind the hot tub and he laughed so much seeing multiples of him self. He is usually in bed by 10 but he did not go to sleep tell 4am. He cried because he had to leave. I WLL be staying there again VERY VERY soon.. thank you guys for the good experience!!

The balcony was over the indoor pool. There was so much chlorine fumes that I could not even sit out there because it was overwhelming. And I didn't even know there was a balcony tell my son hid behind the curtain. There was a lamp and chair In front of it, thought I was just a window..kind of funny on my part
