Extended Stay America Suites - Sacramento - Roseville

I felt safe here. It's more expensive than the other location in Sacramento, but that one isn't in a great part of town so I felt it was worth it. Other guests were nice and most of the staff were beyond amazing! They were very kind during a truly horrible time. One member named Stephen went above and beyond to help me and make me feel safe, at home and welcome. I hope they know the treasure they have in that young man!

The mattress was difficult for me. I have numerous degenerative conditions in my hips, pelvis and spine and normally sleep on a special orthopedic mattress. The beds weren't terrible by any means, but for me it was pretty painful. For a person with a healthy spine they'd be fine. My son had no complaints.

Location was good.

The bathroom & the kitchen sink was blocked throughout our 3 weeks stay. We did not have any room service for changing our bed linen and cleaning our room during our stay even though we want to extend. We have to checkout and check in to ESA in Rancho Cordova.

Located in a safe area. Overall very nice I’m very convenient to have a refrigerator and microwave. Had to ask for plates and utensils. Preferred to just have it in the room. Breakfast was very simple.

Very low staffed. Had to wait 20 minutes until front. Desk came back from lunch. And there was three of us waiting.

The room was nice, the people at the front desk were exceptionally NICE, helpful & kind. One person stands out - STEVE, he went above & beyond for us, VERY nice young man. He should be running the place ;-)

Honestly the bed was waaayyy to firm for us. Our backs were sore upon waking up. That was the only bad part about the entire stay.

All was very nice. I appreciate being close to the elevator.

The toilet was not clean. When taking a bath, I could sèe the #2 grime in the toilet. Cleaning did not do a thorough job.

We were not offered breakfast. Only coffee. With that said, the stay was excellent. Our room was great for the price. Very clean. My wife loved the great water pressure in the shower. The grounds were clean and tidy. Good parking. We will definitely stay with you guys next time we travel to that area.

We didn't like that there was no breakfast.

Everything from the customer service to the accommodations was superb. My only complaint is smoking smell as soon as I got off the elevator for my 3rd floor. I am allergic to smoking, so that was offensive. Once inside the room, I could not smell the smoking; THANK GOD.

Everyone is extremely friendly, even when they were so busy getting rooms ready for check-in. Everyone had a ready smile and no request was too much. Would highly recommend and would stay again if ever another need. Also love how pet friendly everyone is.

The doggy 'poopy' area could be a bit more dog friendly in that it's so close to the freeway that the cars spook the dogs. Plus so many bushes to try to maneuver around is difficult. Some dogs prefer grass and/or something that helps stimulate the need to go potty. At least there is an area and the hotel does provide poopy bags and trash can. Thank you for that.

Breakfast was pretty pathetic--cold muffins, no decaffeinated or herbal tea. We'd rather not have pets in a hotel, but had a dog in the room next to ours, The dog was barking at 11:00 p.m.; when we called the front desk we were told they would call the room and the barking stopped.

Marcella (at the front desk) was very helpful with anything we needed. She made is feel welcomed and appreciated.

The mattress was a little more firm than I prefer.
