Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Roseville - Galleria Area, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was amazing. Lots to choose from and the hot selections were actually hot, including the cinnamon rolls that I thought were to die for! The room actually looked exactly like the photos shown on the website. Everything looked nearly new. Staff very friendly and location was perfect for our needs.

There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed, but the king bed was comfortable. The only downside is that all the pillows were extremely soft (just fine for me tho), but my husband prefers a firmer pillow.

The breakfast was amazing every morning. The hotel was very clean from the lobby to our room. The pool was clean and easy to access.

We didn't think we should have to pay $10.00 a day for parking. This is the first time in the history of staying in hotels that we had to do this. This needs to be changed. The staff were pleasant but not very professional in appearance.

cleanliness and comfort

The ridiculous $10 a day parking fee! Thus is not a hotel in the middle of a city where parking is at a minimum. It’s not near an airport so nearly everyone will drive a car there. it seems to be a blatant way to get more money. And we received nothing for that money! It wasn’t even a guarded lot.

The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated! Bathroom was spacious, clean and had plenty of hot water - the shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap and lotion were in convenient pump dispensers mounted to the wall and shower! The breakfast was AWESOME - plenty of fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, omelets, sausage, bacon, pancake maker (so convenient), especially yummy hot cinnamon rolls AND plenty of hot coffee/tea/cocoa!

I had requested a quiet room upon booking. The room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast area was clean and there was a good selection of food items. There also was daily housekeeping which I wasn't expecting and made the stay even better. Not having to reuse bath towels, etc.. The room coffee was very good. It was nice to be able to wake up and not have to wait for a good cup of morning coffee.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Very nice room. Like the mini couch Bed was comfortable with washable bedspread. Nice clean bathroom. Nice cable TV. Great heater but too low humidity until I wet a towel and hung in front of heater. Nice mini fridge. The fresh coffee and hot chocolate at breakfast made mocha every morning. I especially liked the protein offerings for breakfast turkey sausage as I dont eat beef and yummy cheesy western omelets. Fresh fruit ! I also like the phone charging outlets Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and cleaned everyday.

Bed was comfortable but too high .. I had to throw myself on it and I had a sore arm. Shower was very nice but it would be great to have a movable shower ..hand held shower. I liked the light to bathroom went on automatic as I get up at night..just wish it was dimmer and shut off much quicker so I could get back to sleep easier.

Our room was great, nice and big. Kids had there own area to sleep, tucked behind the main room. Breakfast was good but it closed at 0930.

Often no pool towels by the pool. The room accomodates 4 people but there were only 3 towels. Inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. We had a great stay.

The hotel entrance and lobby was clean and inviting. The rooms were also clean and spacious. I really appreciated the extras such as the easy availability to tech stuff such as plenty of USB and power outlets and easy access to TV setups for HDMI, CABLE, USB, etc. The free breakfast selections were also warm and tasty. I felt well taken care of.

The bed mattress was a little too firm

The lady who checked us in was fabulous. Of course, they seem short staffed, and she had a welcoming attitude while being extremely professional. I needed to extend the stay and the man I spoke with was very helpful. When there was a misunderstanding over the charge, Michaela explained it and was also very friendly. In a time where customer service is almost non-existent, this hotel has an excellent staff.

The additional parking fee is ridiculous. there is plenty of parking space. I arranged the stay through Booking.com. there was no mention of a parking fee. I thought my stay was completely paid for. However, upon arrival I was told there was an additional parking fee. Not appropriate or good business.
