I love that before booking I was not told the pool and hot tub were closed. Booking.com did not inform me this. This being said I will NEVER use them again. Ryan at the front desk apologized for that and offered us a upgrade to a queen suite at no additional charge. He also offered to find us a hotel with a pool. Knowing it is a near impossible task to even cancel thru booking.com let alone talk to a human we chose the upgrade. Impeccable customer service on his end. Also shout out to Monica in house keeping. Thank God for these valuable personal.

The location is great. Close to many food places and stores in walking distance. Staff was accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Short distance from Thunder Valley. The beds and pillows were super comfy. I love the fact that they had name brand toiletries, microwave and mini-fridge. They serve an actual mini buffet style breakfast. The location has a gym, pool and patio seating area. Just all around nice place to stay with great amenities.

The room has a little unpleasant stench upon arrival. Good thing we travel with air freshener and disinfectant spray. They have no usb ports in the rooms so glad we brought the cubes to our chargers.

The staff was AMAZING. Every staff member we came into contact with wasn’t only pleasant, but friendly. Sylvia at the front desk when we checked in went above and beyond, as did the man who came and replaced our Keurig machine. The staff we came into contact with in the elevators and hallways went out of their way to talk to us and were just so friendly. The breakfast was great, the location was great. All of these things exceeded our expectations.

The only issue we had was the spa. It was filthy so we were unable to use it. It was a bummer because that was one of the things we looked forward to.

The people at the hotel were so friendly. The breakfast was excellent! The room was quiet and clean. I needed a late checkout due to a scheduled meeting and it was not a problem. The staff interactions I had at check in, breakfast, and check out were super! Much better than I expected.

Weird fencing for outside construction.

Everything was hood; the staff was very nice.

Even though construction was being done, and we did not have access to the front entrance, our accommodations were great. Excelkent staff and customer service. The breakfast was excellent.

Location was great. Close to casino and it had places to eat and shop close to hotel.

Took a bit to check in as the rooms didn't see to be ready for the hotel front desk to assign. This would be my only complaint. front desk was very nice and accommodating.

First time at a Holiday Inn. The staff was wonderful! I Had the pool and jacuzzi to myself. Very clean and not over chlorinated. The breakfast was decent, not a fan of the turkey sausage but I had all the bacon I could eat. Eggs were so so. Cinnamon rolls were fresh and hot. Bagels, toast fruit, yougurt and more for a decent choice. Keurig is in the room. The bed was nice and comfortable and the room was clean. Wish I could have stayed longer. I felt safe as a solo traveler.

There was some trash in the parking lot. Cigarette butts and soda cans mostly. Inside was spotless though. There need to be bigger trash cans in the rooms. Two tiny ones do not cut it. Besides the person running across the floor occasionally above me, it was a good stay.

Hadn’t specified type of bed during reservations process and was very pleasantly surprised to receive a king bed in a mini-suite. Bed was very comfy and I really like that the firmness/softness of pillows is indicated on the pillow cases. After multiple hotel stays over the past 15 months with Covid-style “breakfasts”, I was amazed when a hot breakfast (eggs, two types of sausage, oatmeal, and warm fresh cinnamon rolls) was available. I really felt like I had been treated to something special! The hotel really is lovely, clean, and well-kept. Totally recommend it.

Even with the great amenities, I thought it was overpriced. The entire South Placer County area hotel availability is ridiculously overpriced. I also thought that there should’ve been more than one person at reception. It was a Friday evening and pretty busy.

Room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Ours was also spacious. All staff were courteous, attentive, and knowledgable.

Not enough pods for keurig coffee maker in room (1 when two of us in room).

It started at the registration desk. Greeted by a very nice lady that was polite and very knowledgeable about checking us in. Left us without out having to ask any questions because she so nicely covered everything. The next morning at breakfast another kind face. She was welcoming and kept the breakfast station stocked and as clean as one could. Very impressed with her, the cleanliness of that area and the breakfast. The housekeeping also was very friendly and I could see that they to put forth the extra in their work. The morning we were leaving an employee rode the elevator down with us. We shared with him how pleased we were with the property and I could tell it made him happy. Once at the first floor we went to exit the elevator and there at the door when it opened was a lady that he took the time to introduce me too. It was the manager of the property. Told her about all the fine things her hotel and staff showed during our stay. Also that it took awhile for us to find the place to call home when in town. Thankfully that search is over. And it all started once we walked thru the front door and never stopped until sadly we had to leave. But we will be back soon. We appreciated our stay that you all contributed to in making it so special. Thank you to you all.
