Hampton Inn & Suites Salinas

Hope-the front desk attendant made this trip! You cannot put a price on Quality Staff! Hope was the reason why our stay was as wonderful as it was. Upon checkout; we watched her politely and professionally work with a dissatisfied guest; yet she managed to find a compatible solution for him! Well for me Breakfast was ok, but watery eggs don't get it , terrible I know there powered eggs but have someone maintain , now I had front desk tell me that they would have cleaners clean my room after they found a pair of underwear in closet but never showed up.

For the amount that is been spent there for stay real eggs for one , put some love in to it for the people and guaranty they will be back , WI -fi don't work there , now that should be free and not have to pay . Slow down traffic from star buck , i notice some rude people and almost accidents .

I stay at this Hampton every time I'm passing through the area. It's always clean, the breakfast in the morning is good, the bed is comfortable and the staff are friendly and professional. I especially appreciate that there's a locked parking garage at the hotel.

The staff was having their own Christmas party the night we arrived so it took them a little longer to get us checked in. However, this is the only time I've ever had any issue with their service.

The staff was very friendly. The facility and room was very clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was better than what I was expecting. Cookies and coffee were offered during the day. Easy access to the freeway and it is located in a safe area. The business center was used and the computer and printer worked perfectly.

I felt the bed mattresses could be upgraded. Not the most comfortable, but not horrible either. The mattresses were just okay.

The staff was excellent as we were able to quickly check-in within less than five minutes. The property was clean and sanitized. The room had a thermostat that controlled the A/C, Ethernet cable and TV channel options. Also, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The Yukon Potatoes, Omelets, and variety of breakfast sides are amazing. This is most likely the best complimentary breakfast that I ever had. Overall, the Hampton Inn & Suites has the best prices with Hilton quality. TLDR: Excellent staff, great complimentary breakfast, property is clean and comfortable

Although, the property was mostly clean and sanitized. There were coffee stains on the bedsheets, small spots water stains on the ceilings, and minor stains on the carpet.

I work in hospitality, and it’s easy for me to spot the inconsistencies in housekeeping front desk maintenance etc... I absolutely loved this location and so did my family! Staff was friendly, room was clean! I absolutely love all the features the room had (turning on the a/c through the TV, what?!!?!!) The only thing I saw that might upset the next “Karen” who stays in that room (we were fine with it) would be the wall by the window there was a spider web in the corner, no sheets for the sofa bed in the closet and they didn’t change out the toilet paper roll from the previous guest. But I will still give an exceptional rating because I know it’s been tough for the industry lately and housekeepers are so short staffed and exhausted. We will definitely be back! Oh and we became members!

The guest who when asked if she was checking out responded with “That’s what it looks like doesn’t it?!” Then dragged on and on about her Hilton Honors membership *insert eye roll emoji here*

I've stayed at this location many times in the past and it's always clean, comfortable, offers a refrigerator and a little market in the lobby. Plus there's the free breakfast every morning. I'll continue to stay when I'm traveling through the area.

There was some garbage that hadn't been cleaned up between the time I checked in and leaving the next afternoon. I don't know if there's been cut backs because of the pandemic, it's not usually like that.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the cookies the night we checked in. I really appreciate the underground parking garage with a locked gate. That extra security helps me sleep better at night.

Very quite room, staff was friendly, breakfast was beyond what I was expecting lots of choices. Everything in room worked all the lights, power outlets, water temps.

Because of location there was no public transportation had to use Lyft to get where I was going, but that is the fault of the city of Salinas not the hotel.

The room was large and spacious for a regular King Bed room with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a large. The breakfast was to go but they had a large selection of food to choose from. I felt comfortable the room had a 'cleaned' tag on the outside before entering, however I'm not sure if that was 100% true (see note about what I didn't like). The staff was VERY friendly and the check-in and check-out process was very quick.

The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better; there was trash and a used Q-tip under the vanity. We had the room furthest from the elevators, but that just comes down to the luck of the draw plus the hotel was completely booked.
