The place was spotless and everything in there worked. Including, tv, lighting, toilet, bathroom sink and shower. Air conditioning excellent. No problems whatsoever. Friendly owners / staff.

Could have had some sort of basic chair in the immediate bedroom area. Had a portable seat in the shower, I guess for elderly and disabled. I pulled that out and sat it when I needed to. I know the places that work in progress but that's pretty basic. Go down to Sam's Club and get some $8 plastic lawn chairs and put them in each room. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever! Wish the prices were lower all over San Clemente. But, welcome to Joe Bidinflation's economy and Gavin De Blasio's Golden State! Where all the gold goes to the professional politicians. 😄

Conveniently located on PCH Calafia Motel's newly remodeled rooms are small but elegantly appointed and quiet. The Calafia State Beach, San Clemente Golf Course, and the hip Del Mar Street shopping/restaurant district are all within a one mile walking radius. The staff is helpful and the rooms are affordable.

The parking is a bit cramped, but the newly remodeled rooms make up for it.

Perfect little place for a my stay. Calafia provided a comfortable, clean, enjoyable stay which is all I needed for a visit in San Clemente. I was very pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay here again, if I didn’t need a place with a pool and all those extras. Thank you for a good restful stay.

For my purpose this place was perfect. For a family looking for pools and frills, maybe not so much.

This hotel was top notch, the rooms themselves looked brand new and were very clean!! But the hospitality was the real star of the show, I think it was the owners that were helping us, but they were soooo accommodating and kind!! gotta love a friendly family owned business, we could stay here over and over again!!

wooow it was soo CLEAN. It really was more than what we expect. The host were awesome and the room is so comfortable. The bed is so comfy, the room so clean and the location fantastic. Next time we will stay longer because is the perfect hostal.

I like everything

The rooms were super cute, had a wonderful beach town feel. The rooms were also very clean and well kept, had everything I needed. Additionally, the front desk staff were friendly, very welcoming and offered helpful suggestions for getting around.

walls were thin, could over hear other guests in next room if they were talking loudly - for my husband and me it was not an issue that negatively affected our stay as we both come from big, loud families, however it is something to note

We loved the room and the whole facilit. Facility goes above and beyond my expectations. They provided more amenities than more expensive Hotels.

Too kuch hiway noise. And beds were too small. Don't feel like a queen. I enjoyed the shared kitchenette being separated from room but the hot plate didn't work.

Very accommodating owners! We needed to get ready for a wedding and they were able to get us in our room a half hour early. Room was so nice and new and loved everything about this gem of a hotel in San Clemente!

The managers/owners were very friendly! Upon entering the room we were impressed, the room was bigger than it looked in pictures! The beds were comfortable and sheets clean! Perfect location in San Clemente!!! The only thing missing was a microwave! We definitely would stay again when we are in town!!!
