- the tv broke in our room. Facilities said they would come back to fix it, never did. - housekeeping grabbed my swimsuit accidentally, when I asked if they had it they never bothered to look for it again or follow up with me. $100 down the drain. - shower leaked really badly onto the bathroom floor

fantastic location right next to little Italy. The concierge was extremely accommodating for any questions and Raul from food and beverage was incredibly welcoming and his team was friendly.

construction taking place next door was a bit loud outside by the pool, but that only lasted during the day time and you could not hear it in the rooms. I was in a room facing the pool directly across from the construction.

We stayed 8/19-8/22. The hotel was very clean. We stayed during Tropical Storm Hilary and there was a lot of fear about the storm. The staff was very friendly and reassuring. On the day of the storm, many stores and restaurants that were in walking distance were closed. The Carte Bar was excellent and the Fit Gym was beautiful! We were so glad we had something to do instead of being stuck in our room! We had some great conversations with Josh our bartender.

The location was great, and the bay view was really nice, despite the other hotel blocking a fully clear view. You really have to be on the 14-15 floor to get the full effect though. The hotel is modern and the rooms were clean and updated. Generally a aesthetically pleasant property.

There is a fitness gym on the 3rd floor that opens at 5am and there is an outside portion by the pool. The first night someone was doing heavy deadlifts right outside the window of our 6th floor room and it literally shook the bed it was so loud. The front desk was prompt to move us to the 15th floor with same accommodations (bay side view king) for the rest of our 3 night stay without any hesitation. The destination fee seems like a scam. It’s crazy expensive and they turn part of it into a $30/day credit to the bar and restaurant in the hotel. The bar on the roof has decent cocktails but the service is crazy slow.

We went to this hotel when my husband and I went to San Diego on a whim for the Fourth of July weekend. I love this hotel, excellent interior design, two restaurants, a terrace pool, and an awesome rooftop bar. We extended our stay, knowing it was a busy weekend we weren't sure if we're able to keep our room or be transferred to another one. Luckily the staff was super helpful and kind and was able to extend our stay and we get to keep our the same room.

great new property, great location. we walked to petco park for a padres game and that took around 30min. walked to little italy for dinner. the gym is incredible and it is all of the third floor. staffing super nice.

the valet parking is excessive at 56 dollars per night. but it is a big city and anywhere they will charge a premium.

the property was absolutely amazing, very clean and spacious, we had strawberries and Prosecco waiting at our arrival because we were celebrating our honeymoon, but what made our stay exceptional was Jessica the waiter of the roof top restaurant, she look after us and made us feel special every time we went there for lunch, dinner or an aperitif

The service at the rooftop bar was excellent! and we were given a credit for celebrating our mini-moon there. We also want to thank the front desk for giving us a late check out to allow us more time to explore in little Italy in the morning! Also, never get rid of the drink with the pandan in it! It was DELICIOUS!

I opted for the lighter continental breakfast, there was still plenty of choice and enough to get me ready for the day. In general the stay was good, everything was easy and the staff were helpful and pleasant. No complaints from me.

Everything was fine, I can't think of anything that made me think 'I don't like that'..
