Holiday Inn Express Mira Mesa San Diego, an IHG Hotel

I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel. I met friends at restaurants every day. I lived in San Diego for 30 years and moved out of state. Every time I come back to San Diego I try to stay at this hotel mainly because of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the room. It’s also handy to the places I want to go.

Sometimes parking is an issue here, but now that it’s monitored better, it’s a little better.

it was nice and updated. the only thing I wished that the rooms were more cleaner the floor looked like they didn’t clean it it had shoe prints all over the floor the carpet was really dirty had a lot of stains the walls were full of shoe marks. they need to do better on cleaning & get the carpets washed.

how the carpet was really dirty. Also it says it’s a bone smoking hotel but the hallways smell like cigarettes.

It is in a good place, it is adequate and comfortable except for the bathroom.

When I bathe, the water runs out into the local bathroom area when leaving, it can cause an accident. It would be advisable to buy a mat that causes the water to leak out.

The location of the hotel was excellent, very convenient for my work. Overall the staff was friendly, courteous and professional. As I routinely work in this region, I will probably return to this hotel.

The breakfast service was less than satisfactory due to COVID restrictions. This is understandable. Maybe the next time I stay at this hotel the breakfast service will be back to "normal".

The location was great for my work. And the hotel was comfortable. I was also able to work well in my room. The WIFI connection was satisfactory.

The breakfast bar could be better. The food was, especially the eggs were rubbery and lacked taste.

clean and comfortable, modern close to freeway,food etc.

small parking lot tight spaces shared by another hotel and possibly nearby restaurant patrons. charged $20 to park. I won’t stay here again simply for that reason.

Breakfast was great and offered varieties of options. Staff were friendly and professionals. Location was accessible and very convenient if you want to shop or eat around.

I think parking area was slightly problematic.

breakfast was adequate. good coffee. staff replenished bacon, eggs, scones on a regular basis.

the check-in receptionist was not very friendly. otherwise the rest of the staff was great.

the location is near with lots of restaurants. room is clean. staffs are friendly.

only 1 elevator. the toilet bowl overflowed. ended up we have to clean the bathroom. food choices are not that much nice.

The breakfast was the best we've had in a while. A lot of variety, and a homey feel. Cinnabons were a great treat!

The front desk employee was not very friendly.
