The room was nice, as expected. They had a hot breakfast.

The hotel told me there was an additional $10/day parking fee. This was not included in the Booking.com description, which said that parking was available. The hotel staff said that they had told Booking.com but that Booking.com did not put this in their description. I checked on other hotels that also charge parking and Booking.com does not show those charges either. I feel that Booking.com is making the hotel seem less expensive than it is. Booking.com should show the parking charge up front.

You had to read the entire website to find out that parking was an extra charge. You have a giant lot that was practically empty. You should not charge for parking!

Hotel was in a great location, and had a lovely welcoming atmosphere with tufted couches and little knick knacks when you walked in. Good value, and nice and clean. Free breakfast, which was MOBBED with families of screaming children in the morning- I get it, it's convenience based, and a great way to cheaply fuel the entire family before going out for the day- but as a childless traveler who generally dislikes other people crowding things, I made sure to steer clear of the lobby area (where breakfast is situated) as best I could. From what I understand, the hotel also had a fitness center and potentially laundry, but I didn't partake of that.

Slower/ slightly cramped elevator; amount of families.

I can't remember the last time I had a paper plate breakfast, the Hampton reminded me of those days. A neat and clean, but low-budget oriented hotel. In the middle of an industrial area, next to an air base, overlooking a bankrupt store and an empty lot. If you have the money, raise your budget for another hotel that is more comfortable. Otherwise, it's a reasonable choice for low-budget travelers with short stays.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the reasonably-priced snacks and meds available for purchase in the front lobby. Our room was clean, and had a mini-fridge and microwave. The bathroom was fully stocked with lots of towels, toilet paper, and Neutrogena products. The complimentary continental breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the waffles! I also appreciated that the hotel provided hot coffee and ice water available downstairs all day. The hotel was close to the San Diego Zoo, as well as a Starbucks (which was well needed to get through the day.) I absolutely recommend for families to stay here.

The hotel was very clean and it was nice and elegant. The bed was comfortable. The lobby looks like you are in someone's living room, it is very classy.

The receptionist that checked us in was very bold and never smiled. She never even looked at me in the eye. It looked like she was having a bad day and she didn't want to be there. We missed breakfast because it ends at 9:00 am, I wish they would extend it to at least 10:00 am.

The location was great. It was very quiet there’s a gas station right next door and a Walmart down the street.

I did encounter small vermin, baby roach, on the bed during our stay.

Very clean, quiet and staff was excellent. Emma, at the front desk is a real asset, she was very helpful .

The bed was very comfortable. Room was a very clean good size. Frig was cold when we arrived. Breakfast was Great. Two kinds of waffle batter (chocolate/ regular) with toppings. Roasted potatoes with onion and bell pepper, scrambled eggs, muffins, toast etc. Coffee available 24 hours. House keeping did a Great job restocking towels and cleaning the room while we were at Sea world. Front Desk is very helpful and friendly.

There is a $10.00 charge per day for parking I was unaware of. I was told at the front desk parking fees are listed on the website. Loud partying and music in another room about 4am. our first night. Not the hotel's fault. Called management and it quieted after about an hour

Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We never had to deal with noise from another room. Cleaning staff very accommodating with anything we needed. Front desk was friendly and also accommodating with any questions or concerns. A very enjoyable stay.
