Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa

The staff especially in Theresa' restaurant were fantastic. General management was also great. On a particular day there were staffing issues in the kitchen and breakfast started late. I was told that I do not have to pay to compensate for the inconvenience.

The corridors of the building were kept an uncomfortabnly low temperature. Apart for the discomfort, this is also a waste of enegery.

Nice lobby and space at the hotel.

Restaurant closes for dinner at 8pm! they announce 10pm…but turned us around without proposing any alternative ~ 8.30pm…and it was a Thursday. No real customer service from restaurant perspective. They have a long way to go.

Very clean and quiet. The room was a good size and very comfortable.

When we checked out, I returned my room key. Then when I went to leave the parking lot, I realized I needed the key to exit the parking area. No one answered the help button on the parking machine, and we were locked out of the building at 5 AM. Took 20 minutes before the gate finally opened - someone must have noticed from a remote area.

The (help yourself) fruit water in the reception area was fabulous. The hotel and rooms were immaculate with a beautiful fragrance throughout. Beds comfy. Everything perfect. Staff were super friendly and super helpful. Early check in was given and much appreciated. Parking area spacious and secure. The hotel and rooms felt very luxurious and were nice to come home to.

The only thing i can think of was my that my breakfast order was missed both days (the rest of my family orders arrived). I think they didn’t have avocado for the first day of ordering, but didn’t give me anything (even just the toast) and the second day I only ordered a latte and didn’t get that either. Not sure if we were charged for these items that never arrived? But everyone else’s arrived and was liked.

What I didn't like about this hotel was that there wasn't any cameras in the parking lot. There was various amounts of camera inside the hotel but not outside. I had a incident while having my car outside in the parking lot. keep in mind, I payed 30$ a night. An hour before I was about to check out my car had gotten crashed into, I noticed right when I left and I called the hotel and they mentioned having no cameras. I payed $30 which is ridiculous because at the end my car ended up being crashed and they didn't want to do anything about it. Anyone would be upset if this happened to them. The hotel has to place cameras in the parking lot for people's safety.

It was absolutely beautiful! The beds were extremely comfortable. It was very clean/ well taken care of, and an amazing staff - Tuli is one of my favorite people now!

Every hotel I've ever been to always has complimentary ice water or coffee somewhere around the lobby and that wasn't ever an option at this place. As pretty as it was I think a beautiful glass water filtered system would be fine in their lobby without taking anything away from what's there in the clean atmosphere. And the coffee option was going to the restaurant and paying $4.75 for a small cup of black coffee.

wish there were more shopping centers in the parking lot area but that’s not a huge issue at all

The hotel was clean, entire staff was friendly and 24 security patrolling the property. The hotel is located 10 min from the fashion valley mall where you’ll find plenty of restaurants to choose from. They also have a restraunt located inside the hotel as well as a day spa to relax and unwind.

One day out of the four nights I stayed, my room wasn't serviced. As soon as I made a call to the concierge, they jumped on it right of way.

Michael at the front desk was very welcoming. Immediately greeting me when I entered the lobby. He was extremely helpful and polite. We ate dinner both nights at the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious and well made.

Has everything you would need except a basketball ball court.

I really love the modern rooms but the space that it offers for the king size and the double queen size rooms. The balcony room is worth the money and is very competitive compared to higher priced hotels. Definitely think this hotel is the best one to get in San Diego if you’re able to book it in advance. I love that the fitness center has decent amount of machines and nice views of the front of the hotel.
