- Friendly staff: especially Angel at reception and Phil, Ulysses, Brenda & Chris at the restaurant. - Great location - Good value for money - Great artificial fireside tables outdoors - nice ambiance

- No sound isolation (you can hear every time a door closes in the corridor) - Amenities could be improved (we stayed for 2 weeks and after 2 days since our arrival the hotel ran out of slippers and never replenished the stock in the next 12 days) - Limited storage for clothes in the room for extended stays

it was clean and comfortable. Overall staff was great except for one person

we were given an upgrade to the conceige floor with full access to breakfast and snacks … only one person told us we could not be there on Wednesday… the rest of the week was not a problem. We stayed from Friday till Thursday!… It put a sour taste to our stay but there was no problem any other including the next day. we are bonvoy members and felt singled out because of our race. it was our 29 th wedding anniversary.

There were two barking dogs in the room next to ours. One of our two night stay, they barked the entire time. We're dog and pet lovers so we understood the fact that people need to bring them and appreciate that you allow pets because people don't feel comfortable leaving them with other people while they travel. But the owner must have been gone all afternoon and all night. We were actually concerned about the dogs because the lights looked off wondered if they were ok and were left food and water or possibly stuck in a compromised position. We didn't complain to staff because we we're not like that.

The staff was very friendly every where we encountered them. Check in and out was super easy. We had a king size bed that was really comfortable. The room was a good size and every area was clean. The restaurant and bar area was big, with plenty of seating. The outdoor area around the pool was nice and had fire pits and heaters. This came in handy on a chilly night. Parking was easy with plenty of spots. It was a short walk to the hotel from the parking garage but it was not difficult at all. There was a charge for parking of $30.00 per night, some San Diego hotels charge more.

The kitchen closed at 9 or 9:30 pm on a Saturday night… it would have been nice to have it open later. We were excited to get in the hot tub but after looking at it, it didn’t look real clean. It looked to have been full all day with a lot of children in it.

Located in the upscale neighborhood of Del Mar, only 2 miles to great beaches, like Torrey Pines. Mid-way between San Diego and Carlsbad, perfect to explore the area & the coastline. We are moving to San Diego in a couple of years and this was a 2-week exploration trip.

Parking fee of $30/night. We chose to park on the street nearby. Sometimes we could find a free parking spot, other times we could not. Hotel's still worth it. It was a perfect location for us.

staff were very helpful and pleasant. the location is good in the middle of San Diego. i wish there was an option of breakfast with the room in booking . parking is 30$ a night but worth it as it’s secure.

our last night they forgot to clean our room we came back late and complained they gave us another room to sleep in and kept our luggages in the old room that was the compensation of forgetting to clean out room which was great .

lobby of the hotel is big and they have outside swimming pool space of the room and comfort of bed room and bath cleanliness big parking lot (with extra fee) a quiet place

value of the money: it is expensive specially the location is far from the center and attractions parking with additional fee you have to pay a deposit which they said it will be back in your card after few days

The room was well-appointed and clean, if a bit small. I was grateful for the fridge and yet wished for a roomier configuration in it.

I was appalled by the attempt to charge us $10/day for internet when it is free at virtually every mall. We paid a good amount of money for this room and WiFi should be standard whether guests are Bonvoy members or not. We are BTW and this was rectified at check out, and still.

When I booked the my stay, I wrote in the extras box that I was travelling there because it was my wifes birthday. We checked in and settled in the room before heading out for dinner. On our arrival back to the room we found that they had put a bottle of wine and 2 glasses along with a chocolate torte and some berries. This was completely unexpected and made my wife extremely happy. All the staff that I came into contact with were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thank you!

Delay at check-in - Housekeeping was not up to expectations (hair in the bathroom from previous occupant; empty shampoo bottles; traces of previous occupant in drawers)
