Decor rather dated, but perfectly adequate; Beds were comfortable (if a bit small compared to European standards - but that’s a common thing sadly - my adult sons found it very cozy indeed); location fabulous - didn’t have to walk far to find loads of great dining options; and we LOOOOOOVED the roof top bar - beautiful place to watch the sun go down; ideal place to stay if in town to see a baseball game (or catch a concert) as the stadium is literally a stones throw away - or an awful place if you’re not interested in either (neither happened during our 3 night stay. We overlooked the ball park & watched them setting up for a Fri/Sat concert set: there’d have been no peace whatsoever during the concert or for the hour or so thereafter - not sure what that would have been like for a non-attendee trying to get an early night, but I’m guessing not brilliant). We weren’t inconvenienced at all by 43,000 people suddenly appearing on the door step, so it was perfect!!

The AC in the room stopped working - so our last night was incredibly uncomfortable (and the penultimate wasn’t brilliant either).

We arrived earlier than expected and without hesitation the front desk was able to check us in earlier which was a great convince for us. We really appreciated that. The location was perfect central to lots of place to walk to.

The only negative was we went to the rooftop it was early like 6:00 pm and I walked in with a few sips left of my coffee that I had made in my room and they did not allow me to bring it in. The security guard said I don't know if you put some alcohol in that. I was like dang I'm not even a drinker anymore so I threw it out which sucks cause everything is about alcohol and now that I don't drink I really like my coffee. Anyways the rooftop bar looked not classy it looked crusty if I could describe it so we left and I threw out my coffee for nothing. Other than that everything was great.

I never seen the breakfast place open at all. I’m not sure where you get breakfast there. The location was great and very convenient. The staff outside when you come in were very kind.

I’m not sure that my sheets were cleaned properly. On the last day I realized my pillow had long black strands of lose hair (that weren’t mine) and I was so grossed out. Also the machine for the parking across the street didn’t print out a ticket one time so I just got a receipt and when I told the parking attendant she got very upset (even tho my receipt showed I paid). She had a very poor attitude.

Overall, I liked the cleanliness and the view from our hotel rooms. The staff was helpful and catered to one's needs. The location was perfect, we went to a concert right next to Petco Park!

There were two things I did not like. One was that one of the Valet staff did not pay attention to their work detail, I understand that many guests were pulling up, but the individual mistagged my car keys. When we checked out and requested our vehicle, it took them over an hour to get it because they couldn't find my keys with the valet ticket number I was given. I had to go into their office to identify my car keys. The other was the additional $100 charge per room fee. When I booked, it stated the final price was what I would pay at the hotel, but to my surprise, I had to pay more.

I loved the location. The fact that Petco Park was across the street from the hotel, it was just amazing. My husband was surprised how close it was. It was cheaper than staying at a airbnb. Even though there was traffic, do to the concert, Valet was extremely helpful.

Even though there was one person in the counter trying to help out! he was able to manage and help every single one in line. I wished I had the name but he was very helpful and always with a smile. Excellent. If it helps I was there 8/28 @ 11pm there was only One guy in the counter.

The room was a good size. Two Queen beds. When I emailed the hotel to mention our other son was joining us for two nights. The hotel moved our booking to a larger room to enable us to have a roll bed for our son. The room overlooked the Baseball stadium. The location is great for visiting the stadium, and the rest of the city. Valet parking was superb.

Spacious room, great location, spectacular view, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

It would have been useful to have a mini-refrigerator in the room. Also the reception area and the main restaurant temperatures were somewhat overly cool.

Location.

No cleaning service in my room during our two day stay. We drank the two bottles of water and used the two pods of coffee because they were not replaced. For the rate, that is the least that the hotel could have done. I guess because we are Latinos, we don't rate the same quality of service as white or black patrons.

Location was very nice. Was not that impressed with the breakfast

My bathroom kept making gurgling noises everytime I ran water, shower, sink or flushed toilet. Also when the next room did. Once the toilet handle broke. I reported it the handle was fixed the other issue never was, very annoying

The location to Petco cannot be beat which is why we picked the spot. Close to the shops/restaurants in the Gas Light District. Staff was very friendly and helpful

The beds are a bit soft but comfortable. The shower head in the bathroom was not in line with the quality and pricing of the room. $55 is a bit steep just to park a can.
