Great location. Staff lovely and helpful. Good food in both restaurants.

The staff were super friendly throughout our stay and accommodating. We stayed with our daughter (1.5 years old) and the fridge in the room was not going to keep her milk cold enough. We called the front desk and asked for a kettle and fridge. Within 10 mins they had staff delivering these to our room and helped set up. The room was clean and big enough to have a crib. The location was great walkable to a lot of restaurants and the new children's museum. It was also nice to know the hotel had direct access to the stadium (if we went to see a game).

Getting into the drop off area for velvet was very hectic. The driveway isn't really big. We felt like we had to get in and out quickly and trying to get our daughter into her carseat was hard. The rush didn't help. Upon leaving they kept asking us to move up a little when a car left but we weren't ready (she was not in her seat properly).

We enjoyed our room view overlooking the Padres' field. Location is downtown San Diego and lots of amenities and attractions are doable by foot. The rooms and carpet do seem a bit worn and out dated, maybe time for a remodel. The rooftop pool and hottub were excellent and when they say pool closes at 10pm they mean it. Our last night we were enjoying the pool area with several guests and 10 o'clock hits and four hotel workers come to button things up. It was surprising but appreciative that they take everyone's comfort who stays there seriously. The bartenders were generous with the drinks, the room service was amazing, and the elevators speedy.

When we first checked in the front desk attendant who assisted us was a bit snobby and dismissive of my sister in law. Yes we did not roll in with Louis Vuitton luggage but were comfortably able to afford staying at this hotel. My later interactions with other front desk personnel was pleasant and those employees were friendly and helpful.

The location is perfectly located in the Gaslamp with access to great shopping and restaurants. The bed might be one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. the views of the San Diego Harbor were spectacular.

Though the bellmen were extremely kind and hospitable the front counter staff were not friendly during checkin nor checkout. They acted as if they were being inconvenienced. we were told the night prior that we would be able to get a late checkout past 11:00 which is their standard checkout time. We called at 7:30 in the morning to request a checkout at noon and they denied our request…very surprised as we spent $400 a night for the room.

Great staff, friendly service, and great drinks at their bar. Great location especially for a ball game goer, and close to the marina and nightlife.

The OMNI name is a part of what drew us here, for its reputation and usually classy image. The facility needed major sprucing up, as the carpet was torn in at least 2 places, wooden surfaces were cracked and damaged, and the bathroom mirror was rusting. I was a bit embarrassed to invite my parents to join us for a luxurious weekend getaway.

The room was clean, beds & pillows are comfy, lots of towels in our room, the staff are friendly & helpful, the key cards to get into the elevator (safety), the gym was well stocked, pool & hot tub so nice.

The shower could have been hotter and also hotter longer. We were quoted $631 and when we left we had to pay almost $750 because of all sorts of ridiculous fees and the exorbitant valet fee. What a shock to us. The fees and valet fee should be listed up front as necessary or optional but still upfront. We may not have booked this hotel otherwise.

The location is excellent. Great room and wonderful view of Petco. The bar area is nice as well. They gave us two coupons for either a drink in the bar or a cup of coffee. Two free bottles of water were provided in the room as well. Staff was wonderful too.

The hotel does not have a shop for sundries or snacks. Also I couldn't find any vending machines. The eating options are not great. Breakfast was very pricey and disappointing. The bar menu sucked, basically. I walked up a blocked just to buy snacks from a street vendor!

Very clean, aesthetically pleasing. The front desk worker was delightful (can’t remember her name.) She gave me a complimentary upgraded room due to some technical difficulties. The view was spectacular. Super close to everything! Shopping, dining, convention center were within walking distance. The front desk staff provided recommendations on local places to eat, drink and visit. They took a couple pictures of me. Super kind and welcoming!

My only complaint was the walls must be very thin because I could hear almost everything the guests in the room next door were doing/saying.

The locación is great and it is a very quiet hotel, you don't hear people yelling on the corridors and staff was very friendly and helpful

I liked the location is across from the convention center and in the Gaslamp District. The room was spacious and the hotel was clean. The beds were ok, and amenities were working. It was sufficient.

I didn't like the pillows were too soft that it flattens to almost like a sheet and the bedsheets were very scratchy. It's been years since I stayed here last and I can see the wall paper peeling in some areas and the furniture needs upgrading.
