The location was good and the hotel was historic! The room was large, comfortable and not very expensive. The style of the room was modern but like an industrial kitchen sink... Note: To see yourself in the mirror you have to close the bathroom door( the mirror is hidden if you travel alone in case you do not bother closing the bathroom door you may not find the tall mirror!)

I expected a hotel but it was more an Airbnb than a hotel. Upon check-in, I got a code to enter the establishment and the room. There was no one at 6 pm in the reception or at the door. I was always worried that someone follow me and that there were a lot of homeless people in the area and some looked aggressive. Once during 4-night stays, I saw security and twice a reception otherwise no one. There was a smell of gas in the hotel and elevators but not in my room but some guests complained their room was smelly. There was no safe in the room. The closet wasn't very functional. Not enough hangers... No water bottles in the room nor any type of glasses... You don't know even where to put your toothbrush or soap in... No box of tissues.

The property is in a great location if you want to stay in the heart of gas lamp! The front desk staff were super nice and welcoming! The bed was very comfy!

It’s loud at night since it is the night scene area. The rooms were clean and simple but if you are looking for extra amenities this isn’t the place for you.

Near lots of interesting spots downtown. Good for young people who are into the whole bar scene. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had. Even called for a follow up after checking out to make sure I had a satisfactory stay. Would definitely book a stay here again!

The room was not as pictured. The listing included coffee maker, microwave and sofa but none of those were in the room. The "Queen" bed was two twins pushed together. The front desk was only staffed from 9 am to 5 pm.

The man at the front desk was the best, and only, feature here due to how helpful he was.

My entire room was not what I booked. The photos shown in the app were deceitful. I booked the superior and stayed in a room less in value. The view of the city was “okay”. They refunded what they thought was “fair”…. I didnt even get back more than half of one night spent on a room. Entire stay was a disappointment, definitely will not come back here.
