Nice rooms, lovely bathrooms with enjoyable amenities. Beds were very comfortable and besides the quiet hum and hustle of the city streets outside I did not hear the other guests in the hotel. Theres even an airport nearby and planes fly somewhat close to the hotel on landing routes. Never heard a single plane.

Housekeeper started cleaning our room before we finished the check out process. We had been at an anime convention and as such we had been cosplaying. The housekeeper had thrown our wigs into the trashbag already, we were able to recover them, but they had been slightly damaged and this was very distressing to my partner who had put alot of work into the wigs. Also this place won't let you pay in cash and put the deposit for the room on a card, whole stay had to be paid with using my bank card. Could've been disastrous for our weekend if we had gotten to town after my bank closed.

The team was very helpful and friendly. The room was not available do they upgraded me to a gorgeous Corner King Suite at the same price. The price was much more reasonable than competitors. Area was clean and I felt very safe!

Nothing, I could not think on one single thing that I would change! This was the best stay I have ever had in a hotel and I've stayed at a lot of hotels. I will only stay at Hyatts moving forward because of this experience.

Location is walking distance to so many downtown favorites for food, drinking, and entertainment. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. The room was quit and had black out curtains for me to relax at nap time with the kids. Staff was kind and friendly. Cleaning crew did fast and amazing work room restocked and felt like we walked into it the first time. Wifi worked Really well for all streaming services and light gaming. Valet was worth paying for. The valet workers always helped my family in and out.

Phone in room didn't work properly couldn't hear friend in another room. No microwave in room is kind of a problem because even some of the cheapest hotels have a microwave in room to warm leftovers.

Cool deco, old but beautifully restored, hotel with a history. Great atmosphere. My wife lived in San jose from 1961 to 1995. Myself from 1968 to 1995. The bar opened that night I think for the first time since covid. Bartender was very friendly and fun. Although of a younger generation, had lot of common experiences with my wife about neighborhoods, schools, etc. Fun guy. Keep him.

The location was ideal for our plans to visit the SAP center. And it was central to the downtown area. I did enjoy the helpfulness of the staff.

The parking to check in was limited and I had to circle a few times to get a spot. It wasn’t ideal, but it wasn’t horrible. The hotel restaurant wasn’t open when we arrived either. It would have made our arrival a little more enjoyable to enjoy an appetizer and a drink on site. The bed wasn’t all that comfortable, kind of hard. And that’s saying something because I like a firm mattress.

Good location, exceptional staff specially Nadia and Jose. Love the fact that ADA parking is in front of property. LOVE the coffee!!!! Stayed In ADA room and love the space available for mobility accommodations.

I loved everything about it close walking distance to Downtown and SAP Center, amazing caring staff, hotel was very clean staff was friendly and went above and beyond for your needs and helped you out in anyway they could.

1. Location - It's a 3 minute drive to the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. San Pedro Square is only a couple of blocks. Nick the Greek's is only a couple of blocks, good take out Greek food. Lot's of stuff to see and do within a 15 minute drive. If you are a thrift store crawler there are lots of them West on San Carlos from downtown on your way to Santana Square. You can find that 5 dollar Hawaiian shirt at the Goodwill on your way to buy a hundred dollar shirt at Santana Square. I don't imagine Carlos Santana shopping at a place like the Square in his heyday. 2. Quiet. 3. Nice Deco, not overly ornate though. 4. For a small fee you can get one of the few parking places right in front of the door to the lobby. This saves walking blocks to a parking garage.

Restaurant was closed. No bar. No food service to the room. You can send out for eats.

We booked the hotel based on location, but soon realized what a nice hotel it was. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

One thing that was a little bothersome was the shower. It is built up probably 6 inches, so when you get out of the shower if you aren't paying attention you might fall. I almost did, but fortunately I caught myself.

Staff was amazing , although there was no midnight snack - which it said on the website. Appreciated the donuts and champagne though. Great location to all restaurants, even if everything was closed in the hotel.
