This property was amazing!! It was legit a 2 minute walk from the beach and maybe a 15 minute walk from downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel itself was beautiful, the white exterior combined with all the greenery from the plants made it feel like a private oasis. Santa Barbara can be quite expensive, but my friend and I, both 18, found this hotel that offered great deals for its price. They also let us check in early which I am so grateful for!

The breakfast was pretty small, it was just dry foods for the most part. I enjoyed a bagel every day but some protein would have been nice.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Enjoyed the wine and cheese hour and continental breakfast with exceptional pastries that you can either eat in the dining room or take back to your room. We had a full kitchen with utensils, tableware and an eat in area, fireplace with sitting area and king size bed. Room 31 opens onto the courtyard with a fire pit and tables. Off street covered self parking and free wifi. Around the corner from busy Cabrillo Ave so it was nice and quiet. Our dog loved it too!

Hot water was quick except for the bathroom sink, but otherwise perfect

Very friendly staff, LGBT friendly, free self serve drinks and cheese in the afternoon, very well designed rooms with functionality. The bed is EPIC! You feel pretty comfortable and like home. Breakfast is a nice small selection, but they served PORTOS pastries, the best surprise! This place has amazing thoughts and details to make you feel great from the bed, room amenities, cleanliness, staff, and good vibes.

The lights in the room were bright white bulbs, wished they were more warmer yellow. The inn is a bit small so sometimes you can hear from other outside areas and rooms next door.

Good location for the beach. We arrived late and the front desk gave us wine and cheese on the house - a nice generous touch. Very reasonably priced. Adequate, clean room. The place did what it needed to and a little bit more.

Very warm room until we opened up all the windows, no safe and located on the ground floor, which could cause security concerns for some. We were four people and only there for one night, so this didn't apply to us, but might be a consideration for people alone, or on multiday stays who would need to leave stuff in the room while looking around town. No fridge either, and not much space for unpacking.

Breakfast simple but good. People very very very friendly and helpful and the place is cute. It is so close to the beachm nice restaurants, nice little park and walking distance from State Ave, full of restaurants and shops! Even a Lemon tree inside the patio, you can see!

The shower was a little small and at night, a strange noise repeatedly annoyed me. It was not constant and I could sleep, but it was there. May be was an animal trapped outside near the bathroom window or the fan of the toilet. But it was only at night. In the morning, it stopped.

The location was wonderful. An easy walk to the beach, pier and harbor. Our suite was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the delicious pastries at breakfast and enjoyed a glass of wine and some tasty cheese in the evening.

The location was impeccable. Only a street away from the beachfront and a ten minute walk from the train station. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, looking out onto the greenery. No frills stay with a simple breakfast (cereal, bagels, spreads) and a complimentary wine happy hour for guests.

The room had a sink in the bedroom instead of the bathroom, which was more of an oddity than a negative.

lovely property with Spanish courtyard and lots of greenery. Our room was a great size with 2 separate bedrooms. Felt like we had our own apartment which was perfect. close to state street too. Dog friendly property too, we brought our service dog but noticed the pet dog fee is only $20 which is very good for Santa Barbara

Noisy heater at night, tvs in odd placements (one on side of bed in awkward place and one super far from bed) Not a huge deal but something to know.

We did not partake in the breakfast, but did see it. We usually have eggs for breakfast so we didn’t choose to stay for it, but will say if we were more sweet than savory for breakfast, we’d have definitely found it enjoyable! It was a decent spread with many options and well laid out.

Beautiful little courtyard with outdoor seating just outside the room. Older place but relatively well-kept (except as noted above). Queen room with refrigerator and microwave. Excellent shower! Comfortable upholstered chair next to the bed. Continental breakfast with delicious pastries, including blueberry muffins that were full of blueberries and not too sweet (how we like 'em!). Staff were very friendly. It was nice having wine and cheese happy hour available daily. Liked the soap/shampoo in the shower. Nice location -- we came/left via train and it was an easy walk from the station to the hotel. Lots of places to get bicycles to rent, lots of restaurants not too far away. Beach is basically across the street. A bit of a walk to the Museum of Art, but we like walking so it was fine. A very nice stay for us and we might stay there again.

Noted the first night to the staff that the phone didn't work in our room but it never got fixed. As we checked out, we repeated this, and that the desk chair was broken, and this other staff member called the maintenance staff right then to get them fixed. Bed could have been a little firmer for us. Would have been nice to have two chairs next to the desk, but not room for this. Could easily sit outside, though. Weather was lovely.
