Perfect location and so quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable and clean, fresh decor. we didn’t get to try the pool as it was a short stay but it looked lovely. would highly recommended staying here.

The room with the balcony had a great view. The room itself was pretty decent. Typical hotel room size, but the room was very clean and updated. I guess they were planning on updating it again after we left. It was one of the lower priced rooms when we were looking for a hotel. The personnel was amazing. all very helpful and friendly. It was a large place but very quiet, we never heard our neighbors.

The only drawbacks were - we were on 2nd floor with no elevator, so had to haul our suitcases up and down. The other drawback was that there was no TV service available. There were TVs in the room, but we were responsible for streaming our own television service. Being a dinosaur, we were never able to get any tv service.

Wonderful stay. Friendly greeting and freshly baked cookies upon our arrival. Our room was conveniently located with adequate parking in front of our room. The room was an adequate size and very clean. We found the bed to be a little soft for our taste. We were aware there was no refrigerator in the room, but the staff was amenable to keeping an item we needed refrigerated in their office. As we had hoped, we found the location to be excellent. It was an easy walk to the beach, wharf, and shops.

There were an inadequate number of electrical outlets, and this caused a problem for plugging in two necessary medical devices.

Check in was the friendliest we experienced during 3 weeks in California staying in multiple hotels! Ben was great and gave us lots of recommendations. We stayed in room 160, it was very clean and comfortable. There is a heated swimming pool on site which we spent some time in during our stay. There is plenty of parking available. There is no breakfast available however in the lobby there are complimentary snacks like homemade cookies, fruit and coffee which was a nice touch and the cookies tasted amazing! The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from the beach and many good dinner and wine tasting spots on or around State street. We only stayed for 2 nights but could have easily done another 2! Definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was quite small

In a very good area that’s super close to the beach. Room was very modern and even had its own private back patio with a small table and two chairs . The pool was open late so night swimming was always fun! Definitely will be returning .

The A/C didn’t work so room got stuffy quickly . The parking lot is small and you can’t leave your spot because it definitely will get taken and you will have to find parking elsewhere / on the street .

We thought the staff was friendly and professional. We were given 3 (free) delicious cookies upon our arrival (and we could have requested more cookies)! We enjoyed clean accommodations which were great for our little group of 3 (my husband and myself plus my elderly mother-in-law) because said accommodations included two queen sized beds in two different rooms plus a small but quite usable kitchen (with a table in it) and a separate living area containing a larger dining table (with chairs) plus two large comfortable couches and another table! In other words, we had plenty of room! And the location was close to the beach!

This is a nitpicking complaint but the only item I felt was lacking in our delightful accommodations was a box of Kleenex!

There was an upgrade to a cottage suite, which was awesome (wish we had more time than just overnight). The amenities upon check in (coffee, the cookies and fruit) were also very much appreciated after our long drive from San Diego County. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. We are considering trying to use this as a recommended stay for our out of town staff when we have our annual holiday party in December.

We were unable to take advantage of any of the onsite facilities due to the weather (tornado warning, heavy rain and wind), but that is not the fault of the facilities. The only things we would have changed is providing a little less full pillows and the slope of the bed upstairs (felt like it sloped towards the foot of the bed).

New and well-designed rooms, equipped with everything needed, including espresso machine with capsules (which is not so common in the US hotels). Great location, near the promenade, the beach and all the restaurants. Staff was very kind and helpful. Additional hot and soft drinks were complementary and available 24/7. Large rooms and bath. Comfortable beds. Free accessible parking.

Everything was great.

We had a 4 night stay and the location was good. Felt a very safe area and walking distance to pretty much everything. Harbour and beach at the bottom of the road Rooms seem to have been recently renovated and were more than comfortable Pool area was nice after a day at the beach Huge thanks to Ben for his warm welcome and friendliness on arrival and during our stay! The complimentary coffee and cookies were a nice surprise!

The room was clean and the property is in a great location very near the marina and beach and a nice walk to State Street and the Funk Zone for shopping and dining. The front desk folks were pleasant.

Our room was a bit dated (from the photos, it looked like the rooms had been updated, but not all apparently...so we were a little surprised) and the bed was a little sunken in places, but overall it was clean and comfortable and in good repair.
