Room was clean with plenty of towels & washcloths. There was adequate drawers/shelves/hanging space. The curved shower was really interesting! The man who checked us in was pleasant and did what he could to get our two rooms close together, but we booked REALLY last minute, so that was not his fault that we were not closer. The parking lot was well lit and felt safe.

I was SHOCKED at how small the room was. I guess hotels have really shrunk with their space. One could not walk/get out on both sides of the double beds, which means one has to crawl over the other to get up. Also, while I understand it, the lack of carpets left a very cold felling in the bedroom area. Maybe all the hotels are doing this, but I wouldn't know since I have not stayed in one for over a decade (early 2000s?).

The only thing that I did not like was the fact that there was only one trash can located near the door. That is not very convenient when you need one in the bathroom, near the toilet/shower area or near the sink. I had items to throw away and had to walk to the far end of the room. Otherwise, everything met my expectations. I did have one question. When I arrived, there were two staff members in the office, yet only one servicing guests. I had to stand and wait for the person in front of me to be served several minutes and wondered why the second staff person did not assist me?

What I liked about my stay this time was the same thing which drew me to the Motel 6 here in the first place. It had an easy off-easy on access to the freeway. Also, I was able to order dinner and have it delivered to my room from a restaurant I'd never had a meal from before.

When I went to check in, it took a number of times for the front desk receptionist to get the scanner to read my driver's license. It kept not going through. After it finally did read my driver's license, the next challenge to get confirmation from Booking.com that I had indeed paid for the room for the night. It took 3 times for the information to be sent from Booking.com to Motel 6 to finally confirm my advanced payment for the room.

The staff where very kind and helpful to my every need even with the location being busy the staff have up my the customers need the customer service was excellent and with the coffee in the morning

Random people walking around the vehicles and making me want to see if my vehicle is perfectly fine and that random people getting close to my vehicle making me uncomfortable

Conveniently located Motel with ample on-site parking. The rooms are clean. Not too spacious but nothing you wouldn't come to expect from a motel. There is a guard on duty at night so one can feel confident to leave belongings locked in the car. The compound is spacious and sufficiently spread out.

The bathrooms are cramped with a small shower cubicle and a toilet tucked next to it. The washbasin is inside the room, but again, that is standard fare for many motels. There are no elevators or ramps to help carry luggage to the second floor.

I absolutely love the staff. Zasha is amazing! She has the best personality ever. She goes above and beyond her role as a customer service representative. We only stay here because she is so awesome. Thank you so much girly. We love you!! Zasha thank you so much for your excellent service you are most definitely a 10+

the staff was wonderful, Samantha was so helpful and sweet and she really was there for anything and everything we needed! she is a wonderful employee! if it wasn’t for her I would of gave a lower rating just because the standards of cleanliness is so poor at the Santa Maria location

Anna & Samantha that work at the front desk are exceptional best customer service I’ve had in a long time. The maids do an amazing job on cleaning the rooms.

Of no part on the staff I wish they would not allow people to hangout around the premises at at all hours of the day & night who are not guests. It can get very noisy in the middle of the night.

I could hear people walking around in the room above. Only one night there was noise.
