Holiday Inn Express Grover Beach-Pismo Beach Area, an IHG Hotel

I liked that I couldn't hear people in other rooms or in the hallway from my room. I also didn't hear much traffic. The employees were all friendly. The breakfast was okay. I think about every 2-3 days, some of the breakfast items should change. I like that the blackout curtains actually covered the sliding glass door 100%.

The carpets in the hallways and in our room need to be cleaned more often. They had stains on them and were sticky. The shampoo, conditioner and body gel need to be topped off more often. The deferred maintenance needs to be done more often. Our door stuck and didn't shut all the way. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The hot tub had cold water pouring into it so after 15 minutes it wasn't even a hot tub.

I loved that we were given a room that had a balcony, everything worked! Including the jacuzzi and pool! That was a plus! Staff was nice ! Check in was quick! Breakfast was hot and ready at 7am sharp! Great experience I will be going back !

I think everything was great! They are still working on remodeling , so I would say more parking would be nice.

everything was what we requested. Room was clean and in a good location to the lobby and to other stores if you wanted to use the microwave as well as to the highway.

another chair could be better in the room with 2 people. There was only one chair so someone had to sit on the bed.

we had two rooms booked through booking .com and they made sure our rooms where by each other. we loved the hot tub but the pool was freezing. lol but we got some good laughs of the kids going in the pool.

unfortunatly the pancake griddle was not working and we did not get pancakes but everything else was great including the staff

Location. Nice new building with elevator.

We had requested a early check in. Our bookings data showed 3:00 pm or after. When we arrived at 3:00pm the lady said your room won’t be ready for about 1 &1/2 hours. We said we had requested early check in and paid the upgrade costs. She laughed and said there is NO SUCH THING as EARLY CHECK IN !😢. They would call us when room was ready. So we left and looked at sights in the area. We did not receive any calls so at 4:30 went back. A new person was at the desk and checked us right in. Didn’t know about making a phone call. We enjoy a pool/spa but this one was not easy access for a older 80’s couple. Down a hill and then stairs. So couldn’t use pool.

We were very happy with the generous hospitality and friendly staff there, and the nice view from the balcony of our 3rd floor room was a highlight. The Disability accessible room was nice and the King Size bed was very comfortable, we slept well, and enjoyed the variety of things to enjoy for breakfast in the nice lobby room that had good seating. The location was very nice and we traveled to eat out and visit the local areas and businesses in Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande and Nipomo, then San Luis Obispo on our way back home.

The location of the jacuzzi and pool were down the hill from where our room was. The photos of the motel made it look more accessible for my disabled Husband who couldn't easily get down the steps to the area. We will look for a different location to use a pool next time.

The balcony, the room size and extra sink was wondering having

There were construction right next to our room and ice maker that constantly been loud. The exit getting on the street is very dangerous, any car that doesn't know the street and speeds could cause car crash. There may could be better vision but trees or bushes blocking it as well, besides the curve and hill

The TV had every channel I wanted, including both conservative and liberal leaning news channels. Hoorah for fairness!

room was very cold. the "comforter" was more like a thin blanket. I had to turn the heater to 77 degrees an fold the comforter over on itself before I could sleep warm.

Husband liked morning breakfast. I liked having coffee machine and the ability to request more coffee pods. Staff, that includes all of them, were polite and helpful. Room clean, bathroom excellent, bed comfortable, convenient to visit family, shopping and restaurants close by, easy in and out of parking lot, parking close to rooms.

Need shorter blackout curtains to keep from blocking flow from heater and AC.

Other than a few spider webs in the corner of the room and on the balcony the room was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is close to dozens of restaurants and there is even a grocery store a few blocks away. I would highly recommend this facility to business travelers and vacationers.

One of the soda machines was out of a product I was looking for but the next floor down had what I wanted in that vending machine. No complaints other than a few cob webs.
