It was charming and quaint. Very clean and comfortable. We liked that it was small and every room had a balcony. Breakfasts were delicious!! And the location was great. We could walk around town and to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Having bikes available to guests was a bonus as there is a lovely bike trail in Sonoma.

The only thing we didn’t like was the property backed up to a daycare. They open very early so opening our patio door for fresh air or sitting outside with our morning coffee was not ideal.

Your staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Certainly enough parking provided, all in all we are planning on coming back and looking forward to it. Our visit to your lovely little town started ar your community hall where two men gave us the tour and welcomed us, so nice!

the high handle bar bikes did not work for me, maybe having more of the regular bikes? Otherwise I cannot think of much more.

Nice room in a nice location and was well positioned to explore the town. We had arrived having stayed at The Coachman's Inn at Carmel and had benefitted from the service and the experience there. In isolation our experience at The Inn at Sonoma was good and it's only that The Coachman's Inn had a better and more interesting breakfast and the 'nibbles' at the afternoon wine tasting were more varied and tasty, and our room there was bigger. Excellent car parking (some covered), a hot tub and fitness room were available.

The breakfast wasn't brilliant.

Good parking on property, nice check-in area, beautiful room. Nice furnishings, comfortable beds. Although our room was close to the street, the noise was minimal.good lighting and air conditioning. The filtered water machine was right outside our room and providing the water canisters For the room was a great amenity. We loved the 5 to 6 pm wine and cheese hour. Good selection of wine and cheeses. The room had a Keurog coffee maker with array of different coffee cups. Free breakfast included in room rate.

The massive bathtub is very dangerous and a liability for the hotel. It was very difficult to get in and out of the tub. I’m 5’1” tall. I felt like I needed a step stool to get in. My husband and daughter who are 5’11” and 5’6” also expressed their concern about getting in and out . My suggestion to the hotel is to remove the tub and replace it with a walk-in shower. Also would have been nice to add Keirig tea cups flavors for those who don’t drink coffee.

The breakfast was amazing and the location was close to the plaza and walkable restaurants. Afternoon wine tasting was a nice touch. The room and facilities were very clean and cozy.

The price was a tad high for what you got in relation to chains. I think they were all nice touches, but would question if they doubled the value. Parking was a little tight in the lot also.

The location was perfect -walking distance to hiking trails and the square, and it was surprisingly quiet given the location. The rooms were clean and modern - maybe a little stark in the decor. Breakfast and the wine hour in the late afternoon were great.

A rug on the floor - even just an area rug between the beds would have dampened the sounds from the above room and made it a bit more comfy on our feet in the morning.

Breakfast and Happy Hour was a bonus! Oatmeal cookies were the best. Room was large and clean and the location was very great distance to cafes and restaurants we went to! Staff was very accommodating and friendly and served us when we got there late for the cookies and again when we needed toilet paper.

Whish the Happy Hour was a bit longer but glad we got to make it!

Breakfasts were gourmet, having cheese and crackers was a treat. Hot tub perfect temp, easy parking. Loved proximity to great restaurants. Bikes in good condition and helmets and lock provided. Really enjoyed the in-room fireplace and decor. We felt cared for the whole time.

Unfortunately they were doing some construction on the second floor, but they were done by 5pm, so it wasn't terrible.

The bed was comfortable. The fireplace was lovely and heated the room well. The bathtub was great and it was nice that they had bath salts available. The balcony was perfect for drinking coffee/tea in the morning & listening to the kids playing nearby. The breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful selection of teas. The cheese and crackers box that accompanied the wine when we arrived was a special treat. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it and hope to be back.

I can't think of anything that any of my party didn't like. Be aware that most of the stores nearby don't open until after the 11am check out.

The room was lovely and the location was wonderful. Breakfast each day was very good as well. The little extras like leaving a "Happy birthday " card and chocolates for my mother's 70th bday, made her feel so special. Jazmine's warm welcome when we arrived a little late due to a flight delay was so nice.
