So clean!

No front desk, and their online assistance ends at 9pm. Their website to fill out the check in form sucks and won’t submit, same with the $100 fee form. I had to resubmit 4-5 times and it never submitted. Then they only send your room code until the form is submitted, so I had to call at like 8pm when we arrived to ask them to send instructions to get into our room. Could all be avoided with just one single employee on site.

The property was within minimal walking distance to the beach, kayak/paddle board rentals, pubic boat launch and Pep’s Place (a must go to for breakfast/lunch ) and a pizza shop. The 2 Queen beds were very comfortable with high count linens. Our room had a sliding door with screen to allow the fresh Tahoe air into the room at night. Pool was clean. Room was clean. It is an older lodge with several updates while preserving the Tahoe laid back vibe. Staff was wonderful. Our flight was delayed until after midnight and they messaged us to make sure we checked in with no issues. Check in / Check out was a seamless and peopleless process. Very efficient and effective. We will definitely recommend to those traveling to visit!

You have to be careful leaving from the back out the right exit if cars are parked in front of the lodge on the street. It was hard to see around them pulling into traffic.

We had a view of Lake Tahoe, which was wonderful! We were here at the end of March, so it was a pretty quiet time. Gas fire place heater is a nice touch. The rooms were very clean, check in and out was super easy and the text messaging and call facilitated easy communication. Glass wine glasses and ceramic (and paper) coffee mugs were provided. Bring your own lotion, but hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. If you prefer relatively flat bed pillows, bring your own, or perhaps they can accommodate upon request.

The room is clean and spacious, and the beds are large. Despite the cold night, it was warm inside. The location is excellent and very convenient, and the Wi-Fi worked well.

The after-booking process is slightly overwhelming. It involves multiple messages to a third-party provider and providing your credit card for online security deposit payment. The floor/ceiling is too thin; we can hear someone walking across the room on the upper floor. The kitchenette is limited to a microwave, coffeemaker, sink, wine glasses, and four paper cups.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The A/C unit was working well (as well as the heater, might be important as it can get pretty cold there!). The only "downside" of the room was that it was pretty dark, as we were on the first floor which was more of a half basement. But it was perfect nonetheless, you don't go to Tahoe to stay in your room ;). Parking was always available. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Not much aside from the low light level of the room.

The room was quite nice, with a small dining area and an electric fireplace. This wasn't obvious but one could boil water for tea in the coffee machine (tea bags were not provided). The swimming pool was nice with the towels provided. While not present on site, the staff was extremely responsive and helpful in the booking.com chat - all my questions were answered within minutes. There was a laundromat in the hotel along with a change machine.

Our view from the room was a wall (not a major really). The hotel was nice but overall overpriced.

We loved this hotel - it's beautiful, there's a free parking and it's right across the lake. Be aware that the hotel doesn't have any staff onsite - You'll need wifi/service to fill up a form before checking-in and you'll have to pay the deposit online (it's easy but worth mentioning). The room is spacious, quiet and clean. The beds are comfortable. There is everything you might need in the room: microwave, fridge, coffee machine, towels for the pool... I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

I loved the fireplace in the room!! What a nice way to heat the place. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was very convenient. I like how it was stocked with paper plates so we could make our own food, and the Keurig coffee maker in the room was way better than the nasty teabag coffee that other hotels have. I did like the ease of check-in, and not needing a key for the room. Room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy, and I could watch the sunrise over Lake Tahoe right from the room! Couldn’t beat the price in the area, it was half of what every other place was charging. Excellent value!!

No ventilation fan in the bathroom - there’s a sign that says to open the window. Not ideal in the middle of winter.

The price was good for a tidy room in good location if travelling round lake by car. The adjacent pizza place was handy for dinner and the sunrise over lake in morning just across road was great.

I had to call to get check in details, they said they had both emailed and text but I didn't receive until.I followed up with them which isn't the end of the world but not as good as an experience as other self check in hotels.

Amazing location! Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a great view of the lake. Most everything you need is within a block or two. Great little beach across the street that has picnic tables to have lunch or enjoy your morning coffee like we did. The facilities were clean and the contactless process was very easy. The staff was responsive when we had questions. Photo is the sunrise from our balcony. Gorgeous view!

Bathroom was a bit small. The sink ledge was not large enough to hold my travel items. There is no closet, just a bar right by the door. I brought a long dress and it was dragging on the floor. In a closet, it wouldn't matter, but it was right at the door. The sink in our bathroom did not drain, so we had to brush our teeth and wash our hands in the 2nd sink just outside the bathroom.
