very clean and comfortable and warm with a nice fire

there is a kitchen of sorts but no equipment apart from paper plates and plastic knives and forks so not easy to do our own breakfast. not realising when booking they have a online access system , no one on site , which is very difficult to do when you have no internet , you get so many messages to fill in forms , leave a deposit before you get an access code to room , we are only passing through this area on a trip so will not be back this way but this system would but me off booking again

Our room with two queen beds and sofa was quite spacious and clean. Although it may seem that it’s just another motel type building, it actually made a good impression as hotel looks fresh and modern. Contactless check-in check-out make the process very straightforward and no need for lock cards. They have keypad locks instead. And the lake is across the highway. Our room on the second floor had a good view.

Fireplace in the room made it very hot and it looked like thermostat is not adjusting to the set temperature. Parking is quite tight in the back. Hard for the big car.

Although there is no front desk and in-person check in, the staff communicates quickly via their online chat. The room was comfortable. There is good wifi (but not secured). Beds were comfortable. Located right across the road from a public access beach. Eating places nearby, driving distance.

It is located right on the main road, so that during the day traffic noise is loud. There is no AC, but there are large windows and a fan to cool the room.

Great room on the top floor with a view of Lake Tahoe! I loved it....very peaceful. Comfortable and modern. Great electric fireplace. The room was always the right temperature. I slept very well. Although the staff was not on the premises they were very helpful.

Staff was not on the premises. When I booked I didn't know that I would have to go online and call to attain access to my room. I had never done this before so it was very frustrating. I had to fill in a form online and had some difficulties doing so. I was very tired from my trip up to Tahoe so this just made me more frustrated. The staff on the phone was very helpful in helping me to fill out the form.

I absolutely loved the location of this lodge. It was across the road from the lake and the facilities were great, just as pictured on the website. The staff made it very easy for me to communicate and were always available to answer any questions I had within the hour. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Lake Tahoe and will definitely be back for future visits.

I don't have anything I disliked about the property.

Very clean room. It had a little refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig-type coffee maker. The coffee pods we used were replaced every day. There were glasses and paper plates and plasticware in the cupboards. The pool and spa were clean and convenient. Even though the Lodge was right next to North Shore Ave., it was quiet in our room in the back. Our room was on the 2nd floor, but that was only a half-stairway up to that floor and a half down to the 1st floor. Good location right across from the public beach.

This is a host-free motel. All communication was via email or text. The communication was often and very informative. The problem was...it was almost too much communication for people who know how to read previous texts/emails. However, they did have a quick turnaround on a couple of questions we had. 2nd-floor rooms did not have little balconies like the 1st and 3rd. There weren't too many restaurants within close walking distance.

We loved the location and the property was very clean and well kept. The room was in great condition. It was easy to check in with the contactless service. We did wish there was a vending machine or some sort of food/drink on property. The overall experience was very good.

We liked everything - we just wish there would’ve been some snacks or food or drink options on site.

Good location, spacious and clean room, entire facility very clean. Very efficient, clear friendly text communication.

The personal touch was missing as it was completely contactless.All contact is by text and phone. We saw no staff so can't rate the staff. We realize this is a COVID decision, but there are ways that the personal touch can be added without jeopardizing anyone's health. We were asked by phone if we were coming for a special occasion. I said it was our 51st anniversary. Yet when we got to our room there was no acknowledgement of that. Just a card welcoming us and wishing us Happy Anniversary would have been a nice personal touch. If you ask the question then acknowledge.

Exceptionally clean and modern. Close proximity to the pool, private and cozy balcony and pool area. Very nice coffee area with extra sink. Nice linens and extra touches.

Could have used air conditioning. It probably isn’t needed most of the time but would have been nice in August. The booking process and check in/out seemed cumbersome with so many emails, text messages and phone calls.

What a great value of a place! We appreciated the room with a great view, it had everything we needed. They answered our texts very promptly when we needed something. The bed was also very comfortable. I also liked that they had a table and two chairs in the room.

Way too many texts, emails, and calls before arrival. It felt a bit intrusive. Checking out was easy though, thank god!
