Brandon, the front desk Manager was so helpful when we showed up a little early. He was very professional and prompt in getting us a room.
We were extremely happy with the room and the hotel. Everything was great!

Great location! Private beach! Jacuzzi and pool, barbecue area, fire pits, outdoor furniture - everything is well-kept and clean! Special thanks to the outdoor staff who have been washing, cleaning, and taking care of everything since 6 am! Comfortable mattress, snow-white bed linen!
The carpet is dirty, the floors are stained! The drain in the bathroom sink is clogged! The water does not drain! The dishes in the kitchen are very bad, the toaster is dirty and dusty! There were no paper towels, although there is a holder for them! Washing dishes is just a quest - the faucet in the sink is so short that it is impossible to put either a mug or a plate under the stream!

The location is great, right on the water if you get the right room. I was able to watch the sun set over LT from my room if I wanted to. There is a small patio with tabletop heaters, so you can sit out and enjoy the evening. Kayak rentals right next door. Room was very clean and comfortable. This is an old style resort that has been well updated. The nice thing is it's right on the beach and within walking distance of other businesses.
A coffee maker would have been good. I left early and nothing was open yet so had to do with water and granola bars. There's no breakfast although there's a place right next door and a couple a short walk so it's manageable. The A/C is a window unit, so either on roar or nothing.

This place was so amazing for our Tahoe vacation. The location is perfect! We even drove around the whole lake and still decided we loved this place and this location the best. It’s located on the water and walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and activities such as boat and kayak rentals. There was love music at kings beach/park and at the restaurants next door too which was so lovely! When we went it was a little chilly and the hot tub was amazing with an amazing view of the lake. The pool water was also the perfect temperature and having the gas firepits and grills was so great after a long day of exploring the lake. We will definitely come back and can’t wait!

We love staying here! It's exactly what we need. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are easy to access and load and unload from the car. Great to have a microwave in the room, which seems to be a "perk" these days. Lake-side hot tub is nice! One of these days we'll wander down to the beach too.
There weren't many outlets for plugging things in and charging. One of the outlets wouldn't hold a plug, so basically was inoperable. Alarm clock was an old-fashioned manual clock (with actual bells on top!), but the batteries were corroded and it didn't work. :(

I booked a superior king room. It was up some stairs and had a lovely view of the lake and the sunset. The hotel were very good about telling me that some stairs would be involved if I wanted this kind of room (I'd requested a ground floor room if possible) so I could decide if it would be ok. Really comfortable bed. Kitchen had small fridge/freezer, 2 ring hob, actual kettle so I could make proper tea, microwave. Dishes and some pans, cutlery, can opener. Wifi worked well. Plenty of parking.
I liked everything (well apart from the stairs but at least I knew about them).

The lovely manager, Merrietta, so graciously upgraded us to a beautiful partial view room that had a small auxillary bedroom with two twins which really helped make our room more spacious without luggage crowding. It also had a small kitchenette which we found useful. We loved sitting in the Adirondacks (Great wind blocking plexiglass) in the common area with a cocktail before dinner and watching the kite surfers! Have not stayed here for many years, but with the renovations that have been done to the lodge it is much more welcoming and appealing. The staff told us it was no problem for us to charge our electric bikes, so we enjoyed riding all the days we were there. Were so lucky to see a beautiful bear right after one of our rides!
A/C was very loud, other than that we had a wonderful stay!

The best feature of this place is the private beach on Lake Tahoe. Guests were wading into the water, sitting on the lounge chairs provided and enjoying the view, (too bad the forest fire smoke made seeing the south shore impossible.) There is also a spa, pool and multiple decks with BBQs.
The room was very basic, no decor. The water kettle was difficult to plug in to the nearest socket. There were USB ports in the bedside lamp bases, but we didn't find them until the morning we were leaving; staff need to turn the ports outward so they are visible. The TV went out during the second night, but it was too late to ask for a fix because we only wanted to watch for 30 minutes before sleeping. The TV was working by the next morning.

We really enjoyed the location of the hotel and amenities it offered. We did utilize the hot tub, gas firepit, and the discount offered for kayaking. Love how it's walkable to everything: restaraunts, shops, grocery store and golf course.
The room was a little smaller than expected, the stand alone AC unit in the room was useless because the cord was not long enough to plug in, so the room was a bit warm. It does have a fan though, so that helped. The USB ports on lamp didn't work, so we had a hard time charging our phones, and there were limited plugs in room.

We stayed here for a wedding that was held at North Lake Tahoe Event Center which is actually a one minute walk from the hotel. We booked a lakeside king room and were very pleased! Close to everything we wanted to do, super comfy bed, fantastic views, and lots of common area (fire tables) for all of us wedding goers to hang out at until late night. We had a fantastic stay.
It’s a motel. So there aren’t really any amenities. If you know that going in, which frankly you should, then there’s nothing short on the expectation.
