Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino

The location on the Lake was wonderful. The hotel, casino, and restaurant staff was so helpful in every way. When visiting a new state during COVID everyone has different rules and we made sure to ask. No matter what questions we had from where to go in the area or what was open at their property they were all helpful.

The hostess turned the outdoor fire pit by the bar off at 5:30 when we were enjoying our drinks with other hotel guest and locked the doors so we had to walk all the way around to the front of the restaurant to close our tab and ask for another round to go. The bartenders apologized for this and said it was silly they did this. The fire pit is in front of the bar not the restaurant and we all would have stayed if not for this.

Efficient check in and out. Bell staff were great with our luggage, thank you Danny. Rooms clean and well-equipped, great view of the mountains. The grab-and-go breakfast counter is a great idea. The private beach was pretty amazing. We traveled with a dog, was welcomed with doggie treats and a "pawsport". Housekeeping delivered a doggie bed and feeding bowls. Loved all that. Also, a shout-out to the staff, they were helpful, friendly, and even allowed us a late check-out. We didn't eat at the hotel, except for breakfast, we walked across the street and had lunch at Austin's and dinner at Chopsticks. Both highly recommended for quality of food and service.

A bit too expensive. We ended up paying $500 per night. It's a great property, but is it worth that much? I did not like that we had to pay for parking. Valet parking the first night and self parking the next. I think I spent $150 for two days (I am willing to be corrected). For a hotel that charges that much for a room, free parking should be a given. But I would still return because, as I said, it's a great property and that takes away some of the pain of the high tariff.

This resort was top notch! I loved everything about my stay. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The adventure team (Ryan & Lewis) at the hotel are passionate about their jobs and is such a great benefit of this hotel. The hiking experiences were amazing - trust me, participate! My room was very clean, spacious and comfy! The heated pool and hot tub were great and quick access to the beach area. I just got back last night and already thinking about booking my next trip. I will be back! Great hotel with stunning scenery!

I thought the food could have been a little better - especially for the price - but it was not terrible. Some great restaurants right across the street for more variety too!

Room was nice and so was the property.

More pools open. Less crowd at the firepit. Additionally, a lot of the casino games were out of order or not working which made the casino portion look a little sloppy. The parking fees were very high.

We enjoyed the new bar/restaurant on the beach and had a delicious meal at the Lone Eagle as well. The staff at the property was helpful and gracious.

I am not a dog person, so having so many pets on property and especially on the 11th floor made it a bit uncomfortable for me-barking and having them in elevators was uncomfortable. Possibly having a special section of the hotel for pet owners would be a solution?

I booked two rooms. Mine had a balcony, which was lovely, but the room did not match the photo advertised. That was a huge disappointment. The shower head needs replacing and the tub backs up. Room 311. The furniture is not in the best of condition either. For what I paid, though it would be nicer.

Rooms were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Folks were friendly. Location was also great. Nice short walking distance to the beach. There were outdoor food you could buy and drinks. Enjoyed sitting and watching everyone having fun at the lake. You could rent waterboards, etc. We just had a great time! You could relax without driving all over looking for a good spot to enjoy the lake. In the evening back at the Hyatt by the pool area my grandchildren loved doing there smores by the barbecue pits. That was a grand finale in the evening before turning in. Everything was convenient at the Hyatt.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Only that our vacation could have been longer.

The Hyatt Incline is true paradise. The mountain setting is gorgeous. Rooms are impeccable … clean and comfy. Silent rooms and AC quiet and effective. Love the night lights at base of the nightstands which are motion activated for nightly trips to the bathroom!

However, the private beach which used to be quite a nice experience is now so full of close together lounge chairs you can hardly see the sand. Also there is massive construction going on in one area which bodes unwell. Not sure what is happening but beach as it used to be is desecrated. Unfortunate!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Great location as it was close to the lake and walking distance to restaurants. Great that they allow pets. Hotel was very friendly with all the pets.

They advertised Tesla chargers available for use. This was a big reason why we choose to stay here. However, I was unable to charge on 3 of the 4 days that I stayed there because other guest were constantly using. Unfortunately, there was nothing the staff could do to limit the use.

Super comfortable and convenient. Clean, quiet, with a great breakfast, and multiple wonderful restaurants. There's always a parking spot, and several cafes/restaurants are nearby. It's an exquisite location, just wish we could've seen the lake from the hotel given the proximity. Housekeeping is excellent. Please, tip those hard working people well.

There's no way to see the lake from the hotel without paying a premium for rooms that face it. There are no places to sit outside the room with comfort, without sitting at the Provisions Cafe or uncomfortably on a long bench in the lobby. Hotels of this caliber usually have a few sitting areas, and most likely a rooftop bar/lounge to enjoy the views, especially of Lake Tahoe. The services on the beach were closed, but no one informed us. We ended up going to Sand Harbor Beach everyday. It's gorgeous and way nicer, with soft sand, unlike the beach area belonging to the Hyatt.
