I am a bit picky when it comes to hotels, Inns etc. This one was amazing. Very quaint, yet modern and super clean. Location was great and loved having our morning coffee out on the balcony. Scones and breakfast were delivered to the room, which was very nice.

Didn't realize until we left that there was a spa right next door. Not that we asked, but I wish it would have been mentioned when we checked in.

Great place! Most Gold Country hotels are either “motel” style, or “historic hotels”. The motels are usually nothing special, and while the historic hotels have a lot of charm, and, well, history, they are of course an older style. Hanford House Inn is neither of these. It is a modern boutique hotel with a cool vibe. Really refreshing to find such a great inn in Gold Country. I’ll be back!

They got a beautiful designer's entrance/reception; very pleasant. Nice touch with the glass of wine Sarah offered nicely. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

The wall could be better soundproof. Unfortunately, we could hear the next-door neighbor's TV; luckily, they didn't stay up too late. Also, having a coffee machine instead of a coffee pot for breakfast would be nice, or serving coffee when delivering breakfast.

The location is great; walking distance from shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms. The Hanford House Inn serves the most delicious scones, coffee, tea, and made to order breakfasts. Better than any I’ve had at a hotel or bed and breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful and they even service complimentary wine during happy hour.

The young lady at the desk was wonderful at check in. She gave us a glass of wine to take up to our room. Later, when my wife (who I was treating for her birthday) inquired about an outside sitting area, she upgraded us to a nicer room with a perfect deck. Wonderful!

I love that it was not a chain hotel and I really enjoyed the choice of furniture, lights, etc. And of course, the morning scones at the door and the wonderful light breakfast in the Element restaurant, so beautifully stylish.

The Inn has a beautiful calm elevated feel, and the staff is welcoming and thoughtful. The full made to order breakfast delivered to one's room along with the warm morning scones is a delicious amenity that all appreciated! We all look forward to returning and highly recommend Handford House Inn.

Interesting design of modern stuffed into collective of gold rush town main street. Accommodations were first class. Patio setting was delightful if you like looking down on old rooflines. The key access through the lobby at all hours was appreciated. Parking was tight. Morning scones, still warm, delivered to your door, followed with breakfast delivered to your room to enjoy on the patio under a sun umbrella.

It was clean and nicely decorated. The room had everything we needed. The restaurant attached was very good. You could walk to town and everything was close by.

Nothing. Great stay.
