Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ventura Harbor, an IHG Hotel

Ohhhh my new favorite spot! I really love it! The room was perfect. Comfy n cute! Harbor view was Amazing 😍 The staff Miss. Paulina at the front desk was sooooo friendly! She helped us out wit everything. She talked to us and was really attentive ❤️ The breakfast was perfect. The lady who attended breakfast was very nice. They had an omelette wit cheese, turkey sausage, pancakes, English muffins, muffin, toast, cereal, fruit...it was really good! I ate good!😊 Oh and the coffee delicious 😋 Thank u I will be back! PS: I had lot of photos but I don't know how to share them on here lol. Sorry but trust me this is a perfect place to stay...

There was a bit of smell in room not sure what it was? We opened window and glass door helped..

The room was comfortable and clean. The bed is comfy. The Jacuzzi tub in the room was nice (half the jets worked) as the pool and spa are offered from the hotel next door.(quite a walk) as with room service (if the bartender over there would pick up the phone to place the order.)

The staff are kind of unaccommodating and short. Claiming that the reason is because of the holiday weekend is not the best reason to quote to the guest. Management should staff according to business and guests should not feel unwelcome because the staff is overwhelmed, especially when paying higher rates because of the holiday weekend.

The staff deserve more than 5 stars they deserve 500 everyone who worked yesterday 7/9 and today 7/10/22 were amazing. Best personalities here from front desk to housekeeping and management you have an A+ team. I checked out left went to Oxnard left my apple watch and they went to my room searched and found it for me kept it at the front desk. All our encounters were great you guys are awesome! we will be back!

I was hoping to hear more ocean sounds being close to the dock but no unfortunately just cool quite dewy air all night

How clean the whole hotel was, not only the room but the breakfast area was spotless. And the kitchen staff OMG! They were so accommodating and friendly! So relaxing in there I didn't want to leave.

The only issue I would address and not a complaint but would just be an extra perk, is if parking was free. That would be the only thing I would bring up, free parking!

starting with the front desk staff- everyone was professional, courteous and attentive, just the type of folks you want in the hospitality business. facility was safe, clean, comfortable and well maintained. I appreciate good attention to detail and notice when it’s present and when it isn’t. this HIE is well managed and has attention to detail.

location, staff, the view of the harbor at sunset, the walking path around the marina. our room was large enough to accommodate Teo teenagers, my husband and I plus our four bikes!

Great location, clean facilities but there were a few issues.

The door to the bathroom and the shower door both continuously stayed open unless the bathroom door was shut completely and the shower door was used a certain way. The shower door also didn’t go all the way to the bottom so the floor was completely soaked with a puddle after use.

Clean with a great view of the harbor. Convenient location to enjoy the harbor area. We rode bicycles up the coast a few miles and really enjoyed it.

There’s a sewer plant nearby. Usually the prevailing winds blow away from the hotel but upon our arrival the wind direction was blowing the stench onto the property. There was no smell in the room, fortunately.

Great configuration of space in room. Sink not in main room. Liked the securtiy features. Card entry from outside to main building. Walking distance 2 1/2 blocks to shopping, restaurants and beach. Used hassocks to reach high bed.

Could have been better weather. Got chilly one night. Probably could have asked for extra blanket.

We enjoyed the view of the harbor and the stores nearby, the room was in excellent condition and the staff was great. Julie checked us in and she was very friendly and welcoming, she made our check in go very smooth.

The only thing I didn't like was that we had to pay for parking and that wasn't disclosed beforehand.
