Very basic but it had everything I needed. Location is very convenient to the fairgrounds, beach, and shopping - all within easy walking distance! The staff was fantastic - very friendly and helpful!

Motel 6 doesn't provide toiletries other than soap, but that's easy to prepare for if you know.

The owners are great, very courteous and service oriented. The room was very clean and in good shape, and everything worked well. Excellent value.

The table and chairs were a little small (from pics of other Motel 6s in the area, furnishings and devote are all the same). It’s between a freeway and a busy street but can’t do anything about that either. Luckily the busy street gets very quiet at night, and all the rooms face away from the freeway, so noise wasn’t a problem after all. Outside sidewalks and parking lot pavement are a little worse for wear but the room itself was in good shape and that’s the important place.

My flight landed early and they let me check in at 10am. Very thankful for that. Close to the Fairgrounds and other food within walking distance. A/c was sooo cold.

Kinda loud, as it is next to the highway. Towels had hair from others on them.

Location to the Coast was great, however, area was a little sketchy. Two older women traveling, we had concerns, but it worked ok for us. We were pleased to have a clean bed and bathroom for our layover. Don't have high expectations and you'll not be disappointed. Often, a clean bed and bath is all that is needed.

Carpet was dirty, sticky near the nightstand between beds, mattresses a little worn, but worked ok for us. For the location, it could be a real great place with some updating, inside and out.

Close to Ventura Amtrak. A short walk to the beach, the Mission/Museum, interesting restaurants and thrift shopping.

No swimming pool? Very close to 101 freeway. Downside of close to Amtrak is train horns.

Perfect location, great room and nice beds. Perfect motel to stay for a short time if you are out and about all day.

Of course, everyone very much likes a clean room, but there was a very strong cleaning smell. Pleasant, but unpleasant at the same time.

I have stayed at this location several times. The proximity to the downtown area, freeway and beach make this an excellent location. The amenities are awesome for the price paid. As I travel through the area in the future, I plan to stay here again.

The owner/manager was friendly, and efficient. Housekeeping was through, fast and our room was spotless. She was also very sweet. The wifi was strong and consistent.

Would have loved coffee in the office.

Staff was friendly and the free parking was great. The location to the beach and fairgrounds was really nice. Was able to park and leave our car before check in and after check out, we really appreciated that.

Great location, within walking distance of the ocean promenade and the downtown area. Room was bigger and nicer than I expected. Great value for the price. No breakfast provided, but that's standard with Motel 6.
