location and cleanliness were excellent.

Inside the rooms nicely updated, clean and beds were comfy. The biggest complaint is the location of the AC. right next to the bed (double bed room) not only was it uncomfortable blowing right on me. it was extremely loud and kept us up all night. if it weren’t for the freeway noise, I would have shut it off and slept with the sliding door open. The valet attendants could use some more training. one was sitting on the curb and appeared as though he had no idea of his job duties, while the other was trying his best to keep up. Nice place, but for the rate I feel as though, breakfast should be included in the hefty rate. 400 a night during the week is steep.

The hotel sits along the beachfront boardwalk so it's just a few steps to the beach. There is a very good steak and seafood restaurant just next door in addition to the lovely restaurant in the hotel. The food in both was very good. There is also a very nice pool and large lounging area overlooking the beach. Our room with 2 queen beds was a good size and had a balcony with seating overlooking the beach, boardwalk, and the Ventura pier. We could see well down the coast. In addition to the big screen TV, the room came with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The sound proofing in the room was good enough to let us ignore the sounds from the nearby freeway and the Amtrk Coast Starlight train at night. The hotel staff was always available, very friendly, and very helpful. We had a lovely time there and will likely come back to stay again.

The property is somewhat noisy because of the proximity of the nearby freeway, the Amtrk Coast Starlight train, and the parking structure for general beach access parking. However the sound proofing in the room was good enough to let us ignore the sounds from these areas at night.

I paid daily for self parking. On the last day of my stay I was informed by the parking attendant that I didn’t have to pay if I showed my room key. The front desk staff should’ve made this clear when they gave me my parking options.

The bed was very comfortable and the ocean view was perfect. Todd at front desk heard that it was our anniversary and provided us with vouchers for drinks at the bar which was a sweet gesture. We will definitely come back in the future for an upper level and ocean view room like this one. The location is very convenient.

Wish we were able to do a late check out but they said they couldn't. Our last night was a bit noisy, I think it was prom night so there was some noise. Otherwise we would stay again in the future.

The view was beautiful as was the room. It was very clean and quiet. Check in was simple and they seemed concerned about getting me to my room as I was exhausted, which was appreciated. Overall the room was great, the bed could have been a bit more comfortable ( Memory foam mattress would make all the difference). However it was cozy and comfortable....the GFI outlet in the bathroom didn't work..but it didn't really affect me. I felt pampered and had a good rest.

The bed, while very cozy and made luxuriously, could use a memory foam mattress. The GFI outlet was out in the bathroom.

Tye best thing is that the hotel accomodates dogs as guests, also the room service was quick, food was delicious, the entire hotel is immaculately clean, the proximity to the beach and boardwalk is convenient, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the parking valet watches your car for you overnight, and the hotel interior and exterior are beautifully designed. This place is absolutely gorgeous.

Location

Expensive. Asked for a late check out due to competition and front desk only gave an hour, which I asked for 2. I thought for the premium price I paid, they should have been able to help knowing I had 2 kids and a lit if baggage I needed help with. And the gal at the front desk was a bit rude about it. Otherwise, the room was clean. The waiters at the restaurant were amazing and very nice.

Breakfast was good I had the Avocado toast it was a lil bland but good wish it a little seasoning on it! Still nice & healthy

I didn’t like how the room doesn’t face the ocean directly, it’s at an angle so when I booked beachfront that’s what I thought I was getting. The room is actually facing the parking lot but I get ocean view as well but at an angle, it’s not like I walk in my room and I see ocean, I see parking lot first then the Ocean at an angle (it’s not bad) just not what I expected

The proximity to the beach was perfect and it was barely 5 minutes walk to the town centre. All around were great restaurants. Bike rentals were a few minutes away. Always, there were wonderful opportunities for people watching with surfers, bike riders, walkers, musicians, young families playing in the sand… The bed was super comfortable and we didn’t want for any amenity. Every morning outside the elevators was tasty hot coffee while during the day ice cold strawberry cucumber water was available. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and served with a smile.

Lovely stay. Hotel right on beach so did not have to cross a busy road. Shout out to Dylan in reception and the guys at the valet parking - you were very welcoming after an opposite reception at our previous hotel. Room overlooked pier and so we were able to watch the 4th July fireworks all around the bay. Hotel is well placed being about a 10 minute walk to the town centre which is very pleasant indeed.
