Comfort Inn Mount Shasta Area

After driving almost 800 miles from Utah, this place hit the spot. The breakfast was great, beds were good, room was clean and the housekeepers acted well paid & happy. I will likely stay here again.

The rooms could use some fancy sound-proofing panels that don't require major renovation. There could be an extra roll of TP & perhaps extra towels stocked as part of the SOP. Just 1-2. Lastly, perhaps adding some eggs to the breakfast menu would be extra helpful to patrons.

Nice accomodations in a small town, reasonable price for the stay, front desk clerks were friendly, and allowed me to check in my room a little early. This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel, when I visited the Mount Shasta area.

I noticed that a few restaurants had closed down in the area, probably due to inflation and the residual of the pandemic, was able to get a bite to eat from a local taco truck. The Taco Bell in the area had a waiting line for 20 minutes,

breakfast was good. i was so tired when i arrived, i don't remember the location!

on bookings.com, i said i would be bringing two small dogs. now i am wondering if "dogs" was read as "parking". i received an email back that my request was approved and there would be no extra charge. when i reminded the woman at the desk, she said i did not say i was bringing dogs and she was very rude about it, even when i showed her the email i got from bookings.com. she told me they did not work with bookings.com even though that was how i booked my stay. she didn't even direct me to the elevator or indicate in any way where my room was. this woman was in the wrong job!

Breakfast was the standard fore for a better than average motel with of course the Belgium Waffles and other normal better than average items! The location was perfect for people traveling up/down I-5 as totally convenient and places to eat dinner after/before checking in.

With the newness looking of the place with lots of work by the staff, there was NOTHING but pleasure when checking in with total cleanliness and it just got better as we took the elevator to our floor and room.

The front desk staffs were very helpful. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom was of decent size. The cleaning service crew/ housekeeping staffs were great.

The breakfast was average. Having some form of an egg would have been good. The carpets were old and torn out. Some rooms had stinky carpets.

Ice machine not working. At check out I wanted to pay cash but they charged my credit card upon arrival instead of upon departure. And was unable to reverse my changes off my card! So I could pay cash. This is the first time this happened at a hotel I stayed at. All others charge at check out. So I dought I will ever Stay again at a Comfort Inn!

Bed was great, friendly staff, clean

No TV remote in room! I was given one at front desk in office, but that remote didn’t work after several attempts we were informed there was not one for that TV. The bathtub plug did not work to take a bath, having back issues and traveling it was very disappointing!

I loved the breakfast and that they had a gym and laundry room.

I didn’t like that the pool was closed do to bacteria in the pool and that a family member of the staff was their yelling at them.

Are room was a King suite and it was spacious with defined sitting/office/wet bar area. Lots of Storage if you were staying awhile! Bed was comfortable plenty of pillows. Night front staff VERY helpful!

TV faced the bed only. While the more likely viewing scenario, it would be nice to sit on the couch and watch TV. Breakfast waffles(machine out) would have been nice. Covid has made this convenience difficult.

i did not know there will be so much trucks. breakfast was better than expected. there were orange juice, hot meal, and others that required efforts to setup.

there were trucks parked outside near by which was not expected. but the trucks did not make too much noise. Window must have been good to block the sound.
