Dan and Julie are wonderful, welcoming hosts. They were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. they treated us like friends rather than strangers. The unexpected treat was the quality of the breakfast and and Julie's baking. The breakfast was absolutely gourmet...healthy and satisfying. Julie was accommodating in honoring our vegetarian preferences. Dan is an impressive historian and storyteller, with a deep knowledge and appreciation for the history of the building, and Mc Cloud in general. We recommend the Mc Cloud B & B highly, you won't regret staying there.

We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do in the area. 2 nights was not enough.

Julie's cooking is exceptional... she thoughtfully inquires as to any food allergies and then accommodates. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and over the top! The Valentine goodies that we were met with upon arrival were so cute and thoughtful as well as delicious! The cleanliness of our room and the Inn as a whole was the icing on the cake. Julie and Dan are so enjoyable to visit with... even though they were busy, they never made us feel like they were too busy to chat. Love the upgrades they are doing... Dan does nice craftsmanship. Very well done... Just wonderful!

super cozy inside and gorgeous setting outside. Fabulous breakfast served on outside deck. wish we’d stayed 2 nights! The area was uncrowded and we had a completely private hike to the Falls. Note if in a hurry… the middle falls is the best and so beautiful an artist couldn’t even imagine the detail.

the town closes at around 6 pm. after that you better have brought your own dinner.

It was easy to find, easy parking, and a very short walk to McCloud’s Main Street. Our room was roomy 😁 and we had plenty of space for our stuff. I so enjoyed the old creaky floor boards.The bedding was so soft it was really difficult to get going in the morning but the thought of the fabulous breakfast made me leave those soft sheets. Breakfast was delicious and different both mornings with plenty of coffee and juice. Servings are very generous and it was such a treat to have a home cooked breakfast. I almost forgot to mention the lovely welcome once we got into the building with the delicious homemade cookies for each guest- a really nice touch.

I hadn’t received the code to be able to unlock the door by the time we arrived, during the evening, but the host called me and we were able to get in very soon after despite my brain not working very well while pushing buttons with the correct code.🤦🏻‍♀️

This is an amazing hotel. Excellent location. 10 minutes to McCloud Falls. 22 minutes to Castle lake. Ski and snowmobile trails nearby. A hotel with its own history. We stayed in a family room. Magnificent room with a electric fireplace, Comfortable beds. The staff gave a tour of the hotel and told about the history of the building and the city of McCloud. It was so interesting! I want to mention the excellent homemade breakfasts. It was Yummy! A great start to the day with a delicious breakfast on the deck In the company of my family and a dozen cute funny hummingbirds! Thank you so much for amazing service! We’ll be back!

We were given a tour of the building and told of its history; the decor complemented the history. The fresh-baked cookies were delicious! The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the deck at night and eating breakfast there in the morning was very pleasant. The room was pleasant and had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

We opened the window and blinds to get fresh air, but the very bright light at the garages/worksheds lit up the room. Maybe add a shade on the house-facing side of the light?

Our family has been blessed to travel the world and the country. My teens both said that this was hands down the best food of any hotel. They are not wrong. The owners are a couple who took over shortly before the pandemic. Julie is an amazing baker and cook. Over our three days here, we were treated to an assortment of her home make bakery quality goods. Our breakfasts were huge and always delicious. Beds were comfy. Rooms spacious. The staff was very Covid conscious. McCloud is very close to many beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls and state parks.

This is an “old fashioned” bed and breakfast. So it’s homey. If you are looking for sleek Hyatt, this is not it. Floors creak.

we like to get off the beaten track. our hosts Dan and Julie could not be more friendly and accommodating. they made fresh cookies and brownies for our arrival. the breakfast next morning was delicious. could not ask for a better stay. the bed was very comfortable.

the rest of the town is a little shut down. I think COVID has been hard on the town of McCloud

A charming facility and we were greeted with fresh cookies. Breakfast was huge. Friendly owners. Our room and bathroom were huge and very well decorated. A beautiful front porch was used for breakfast. McCloud has an excellent 9-hole golf course

We were taken by the decor, the cleanliness, and the coziness of the place the moment we pulled in! It really felt like a unique experience and we're all glad we stayed here albeit only for a night. Thoughtful touches included an arrival goodie, and breakfast which was perfect. Hosts were communicative and and to accommodate dietary needs (including multiple food allergies and veganism!!) without an issue, so grateful!
