LOVED the hammock in our room and all the gear that was available to try (we used the bottle opener and mugs!). The smart TV was a big plus, it's rare to be able to watch streaming services at a hotel. We arrived late, so it was super helpful that check-in instructions were texted to me and that the café was still open (we ordered pizza and a sandwich). We added on the beer package and were stoked to find that they had put our 6 pack in the fridge! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at LOGE and would love to visit again.

We unfortunately did not get to explore all the hotel had to offer, there are a lot of amenities that can be appreciated if you stay more than one night. That being said, what was available to us in the room (smart TV, hammock, fridge/microwave) and at the café (good food, bonfire) were great for our one night stay!

This place is made for adventure travelers. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and rooms come equipped with a hammock, bike racks and a yeti cooler in the room (in addition to the fridge). There are multiple picnic areas outside and, although I missed it, they host a s'more making at the fire pit in the evening. Fun place!

There is no staff on site after 7pm and they are supposed to email you a contract and code for your door. Somehow, I never received mine and had to hunt down the right person by phone at 9pm. They did respond within 10 minutes and we're apologetic and friendly.. The only other negatives is that the walls are thin and the family next to me was quite loud until later and there are no trash cans in the room.... Trash needs to be disposed of outside. Overall,, this would be a great place for vacationers in this area as the location is great and the surrounding are beautiful!

great staff and very cool facilities. Cooler in the room you could borrow - hammock that was a very cute addition. Loved the little cafe for morning coffees and afternoon beers on tap.

Bathroom was dated with torn screen. The outlets for the bed were funky and hidden by the bed and sofa. Only one place to plug in our phones next to the bed (and it was behind the pillow) and the only other available plug was a power strip that also had the tv, microwave, lamp, refrigerator and water Kettle for tea plugged in. When I turned on the hot water, it blew the electrical in the room. also - super scary with all of the cords hanging down - very dangerous for children. The bed was HORRIBLE with a dip on one side. The pillows were hard and old and the sheets were the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel that was not along some seedy highway. We would have stayed somewhere else if the office didn't close at 5pm (we didn't know the beds were so bad until after 9pm).

The lodge is new and very nice. The facility is a good size and easy to use. The lights are on at night, so you can camp safely. The exterior, interior and souvenirs are all tasteful. Easy access to Mount Shasta and nearby waterfalls, comfortable to return to the inn and rest during the hot weather.

I forgot my important ring in the room, so I contacted them after checking out, but was told that it was not there. Please contact me if you find it, such as keeping it for a few days. When I was talking about how thin the walls were, the person next to me hit the wall.

the digital check-in is convenient. The property and facilities on the property were - a shared kitchen, and a firepit. Cafe on premises for coffee and pastries, also beer, wine, and snacks. Easy to get to. The hammock in the room is always fun. The ski boot drying rack would be really convenient if you were on a ski trip.

well, we had a snafu where we got the wrong room (we had reserved a bunk room and got a room with double queen beds instead) and due to the digital check-in and time of arrival, there was no one to talk to. I did send a message once we got there and they offered us an additional room eventually, but I got the message a bit later (I did not see it until the following morning) so we did not take up that offer. Maybe if you have a special room like the bunk room just confirm when the property messages you on the day of arrival. They offered us a discount for our trouble but the discount was just the price of the smaller room - I feel like they could have knocked a bit more off the price since we ended up sharing beds.

The overall "vibe" of the place was cool. The ability to use an outdoor grill or access to a kitchen was nice. The room was clean and stocked with drinks if you didn't feel like going into town. There is also a Cafe on site for your basic morning needs (coffee, scones, etc)

This is coming from a retired firefighter, so maybe I'm a bit more concerned about it? I get that it's an old facility, but I didn't like the use of so many power strips (3). If you need to use them, they should at least be high quality power strips. The one by the TV had a couple plugs that were non functional due to damage. Will this stop me from staying there again? Absolutely NOT. The only other thing was poor lighting, but I would say it's primarily do to the dark gray accent wall.

Love the rooms and private entrance with code- super easy and efficient. Felt like a safe and friendly environment. Rooms were very clean- like new, and held a lot of accommodations for a “lodge”. We loved the hammock detail- my daughter slept in it all night 😄 I called ahead of my stay to ask a question and the woman I spoke to was very helpful and friendly.

My only bit of feedback was that the lady working the cafe in the morning did not seem Iike she wanted to be there. I saw her help several customers, myself included and she was really disengaged - and no smile. I was so happy with my stay there and everything around me- like it was a little magical… until I went to get coffee in the morning. Maybe it was a bad day.

Great location, easy check in/out, excellent outdoor space and super friendly staff. Would recommend for sure! Also the accessories for your outdoor gear is amazing, will take a boot warmer and bike rack any day.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed and the one little thing I noticed both times was a need for a refresh. Especially for the price of the stay. Paint touch ups, bathtubs seem a bit dingy and dirty. Can see the wear a from outdoor adventures.

Check-in and out could not be EASIER! I enjoyed the event that took place Sunday, September 25th, 2022, that included making art, a DJ, and a performance. It was our second time staying in one week and this room had two queen beds. The first time we stayed five nights before, we had the family room since it was the only room available and I preferred that room... it was room 24. It had a couch I liked.

I think the bathroom could be a little bit more updated so that I felt comfortable using the bathtub rather than just wanting to take a quick shower.

The place itself is fantastic! Big rooms, fun with hammock in a room, playful territory - fire pit, outdoor stage, outdoor bar with grills, fantastic view, smores - wow! But the room could be cleaner.

It wasn’t a complete disaster, but old dirt in the corners, a stale-looking sink, and a big suspicious spot on bed linen didn’t allow thoroughly enjoying this place's beauty. All these issues are easy to fix with relevant cleaning.
