Mount Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast

We all really liked the hospitality of the owners and the wonderful house. It was like visiting some good old friends. Great views of Mount Shasta and close proximity to the lake. The delicious breakfast exceeded our expectations. The special treat surprised and pleased no less. We have already managed to tell our friends about this magical hotel and wonderful people who created an unforgettable atmosphere of love and harmony. Thanks Kris and David. We will definitely return to you!💙💛🙏

The only thing we would like to improve is our time of rest in your wonderful house! Next time we will stay longer.

Everything. Staff, location, facilities, ambiance, and morning breakfast surpassed all expectations. We truly enjoyed the warm hospitality of Kris and David, and the love and pride they take to make their B and B a home away from home. The location to snow activities, hikes and bike trails were noted for a definite return to this gorgeous place.

Hmmmm. Not a thing was anywhere near negative. Kris and David met all traveler needs and then some.

Lovely welcoming hosts, all-night cookies and refreshments, delicious breakfast, beautiful historical property. Both the room itself and adjoining bath were so spacious, you can imagine the grandeur for its time

Minor thing and we loved the charm of being in a period property -- not unexpected, but we had some faded enamel and cloudy water in the bathtub for the room we stayed in, perhaps due to the original plumbing

The owners, David & Kris, are amazing, warm and friendly. The home-made breakfasts are dying for, so fresh & delicious The property is charming, clean and has a beautiful view of Mt Shasta It is conveniently located and very easy to find It is pet friendly so our dog Goldie is very welcomed there

The only thing that might be improved is the comfort of the sofa bed

This is family operated small hotel. You could not find may of them left in California now. Room was big enough and clean with comfortable bed. Owner provided excellent home made breakfast. Tea and chocolate cupcakes served whole day. It is short ride from Mt Shasta town. My wife left reader in the room. I called and asked to send it to us. We got it back by USPS a couple of days later. I can highly recommend tis hotel.

The location was great - B&B was just a minute drive to Lake Siskiyou for swimming and fishing, centrally located for hiking around the Mount Shasta area. We could see Mount Shasta from our front porch. My kids and I enjoyed the games available, breakfasts were wonderful.

Very friendly B&B serving a wonderful breakfast. Eating breakfast served on the verandah overlooking mt Shasta was very nice. Nice, large rooms with comfortable beds. Great location close to but just out of town.

Although it wasn't an issue, the price bracket this room was in is one that would usually be expected to have a private bathroom.

I enjoyed looking into all the numerous details around the house, especially the fireplace area, the dining room and the patio. The hosts were very welcoming, kind and helpful. The nicely served breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not as good as the atmosphere and hospitality. Not sure if all the units rely on the shared bathroom but its condition is somewhat off-putting. It's really nice to have bathrobes, but not with someone's hairs on them. IMO the place would easily hit 9 or 10 out of 10 if not the cleanliness issue.

Hosts David & Chris were awesome, Very friendly and helpful! This grand old house still has much intact from her glory days. It is very quiet, with occasional distant train sounds and lots of birdsong. We would stay again. They welcomed our dog with warm enthusiasm too, even bringing him a treat during breakfast!

Smell of sewer gas or similar in the room and in the entry. Otherwise we were very happy during our short stay.

What an incredible property in a beautiful place and the breakfast was outstanding. It was just what I needed and I highly recommend the Mt Shasta Ranch to anyone looking to relax, enjoy nature, and feel pampered. The hosts were warm, friendly, and provided an exceptional experience. My only regret is that my other half was not with me! I will definitely be back!
