The person on shift at the check-in counter upon our arrival (middle-aged gentleman, with long hair,he didn’t bother to introduce himself, so we don’t have his name), wasn’t very friendly and left out some critical information, like reserving a table for dinner beforehand, telling us there would be a wedding at the venue and not informing us that there wont be housekeeping for our 2 night stay. This might be common knowledge to regular guests, however, he made is blatantly obvious that it was our first time there, after asking us that repeatedly and performing a smaller version of the Spanish Inquisition in the same manner and likeness. Other than this individual, all other staff were very polite and respectful.

The view was absolutely phenomenal from my room, Beats anything else you can get in the upscale hotels in downtown Breckenridge that cost an arm and a leg to stay at! The on-site restaurant isn't cheap, but it does serve high quality food & drinks with that same amazing view

The free breakfasts was good, but it could have been switched up every couple days or so - it was the same thing every day, and on one day the coffee was gone by 8:30 AM! Luckily there was a real (not crappy hotel quality) coffee maker in my room that came in handy.

The inside of the lodge, as well as the surrounding town is very quant. The entrance was very welcoming and Garret made sure we got a mini tour of where everything was. The breakfast was amazing and we had a lot of variety to choose from which made this perfect as I was on a strict diet. My husband especially enjoyed the restaurant meals and the bar, the food was sublime and the drinks were well served.

Only negative would be that when we went to use the hot tub it was filled with dead flies. I had to clean this up as I don’t like to ask for help but it really wasn’t a problem.

We loved the location on the mountains. Amazing views from our room. They have a shuffle to take you anywhere you want and they pick you up as well. It was very convenient for us to not worried about taking an Uber. The shuffle driver was extremely nice! Great breakfast with outstanding views. The staff were incredible. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They definitely gave us the extra bit of service.

Pillows were uncomfortable and we didn’t have a microwave in our room.

“Mountain View” room with a Million Dollar View. We were fortunate enough to get a balcony room. We enjoyed sitting and soaking in those mountain views, and watching the night sky with stars so bright. This was our main reason for picking The Lodge at Breckenridge.

They are in the process of remodeling the rooms and adding air conditioner. The room had been remodeled, but there are still things they have to complete like no covers on floor vents. No air condition makes it stuffy to sleep, but I was aware of this when I reserved our room.

The facility was amazing! We asked for a mountain view...definitely worth it! The view is like a postcard! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. Also, they provide shuttle service to the ski hills or anywhere else you want to go so we never had to use our car and pay the exorbitant public parking costs in town.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The view is to die for! It was amazing waking up to a 5 star view, which you also enjoy in the hot tub. Spend the extra for a mountain view, you won't be disappointed. They have a nice breakfast with microwave breakfast sandwiches, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, oatmeal, and pastries. Throughout the day they refresh the coffee and hot water, the microwave is available to use at any time. That plus the room fridge allowed us to eat leftovers and save money. They also have a water bottle refill station so we could fill up before our adventures. It's a cozy lodge feel but you aren't cramped.

Nothing! We were warned in advance about the renovations on other rooms so that wasn't unexpected. Can't wait to return again.

Stayed here with my mother on a one night stay for a quick 'girl's trip'. The location is out of town just a few miles and has the MOST magnificent views! We had a balcony room and arrived near sunset. Spectacular views, peaceful and easy to find. The room was updated but made to look like a mountain cabin. Beds were comfortable and all in all a fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again. It was unseasonably warm in September and they did provide a fan which was adequate. I would have liked to keep the balcony door open longer as it cools off at night but a bit afraid of birds or owls flying in. This really wasn't a negative, just something for people to be mindful of.

There wasn't a dining facility open which would have been helpful. They did have a grab and go breakfast though.

The lodge is about two miles east of Breckinridge ski resort. I wasn’t sure I would like that but it is located on a hilltop overlooking the town. The property is beautiful, with ample parking and quiet. We were able to bring along our two dogs and there was adequate room to walk them and explore. The surrounding properties are nice and spread out with little traffic. I would definitely stay again!

The use of technology for the room key. Having to provide the same registration information to another system that then failed to provide the “key” when my room was ready. Thankfully the real life receptionist was able to send me the key as well as give me a physical key. The same system then asked me for my check out time 3 hours after arrival and shortly after that wanted to know if I wanted to stay another night at a discounted rate.
