We had a last minute decision since our car broke down on the way home from steamboat springs, which ended up being in the shop overnight and had to find a place to stay. The guest host was very kind and made us feel welcome. The place was nice and homey and had a beautiful hot tub outside, which unfortunately, we couldn't use since not bringing a swimsuit. It's right off of main street, which is next to so many different restaurants and shops. This is a perfect place to get away in Frisco.

The shower was a bit different since it only had a half door on it, which made it difficult to keep water inside. The breakfast was ok. Wasn't a lot of food, but just a typical eggs breakfast. However, they did offer fruit and granola and plenty of teas.

Booking.com policies had me charged twice for my room . I ordered the room through priceline.com and booking.com both took my money and never paid it to the vendor. They want proof of my spending the money the banks remain closed, and I will find some time probably the week after next but I’m furious at $910 of mine is still being held bybooking.com and I paid for the hotel in full from my credit card. I will return to the hotel, which was lovely, but never ever ever again use booking.com or any other group that uses their services until or less my money is repaid immediately.

The place was lovely. Nothing could’ve been better where you plan to return in May come booking directly though this time. unless my money has been returned.p

This is a neat place that is homey and older in build. It would be perfect if you wanted a retreat and didn't mind sharing a bathroom. Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting that so I was disappointed but I should have read the description. The lady in charge was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. I left early and missed breakfast so no comment on that.

Nothing really but not a good fit for me. I just wanted a quick and painless stay but ended up in the downtown, touristy part of Frisco.

Excellent breakfast and happy hour, where you just naturally meet the other guests and get to know people from other places. Hotel is right in the center of Frisco's main street, so plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Cozy, rustic ambiance. Accessible to Copper Mtn by free public transit.

Our room was very tiny. It's a rather old building, so it's best for those who appreciate the charm of that and aren't looking for shiny modern chrome and marble bathrooms.

This hotel is right in the center of the village. But once inside, it feels like you're in a cabin high up on the mountain. It is very cosy. The staff is also very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. In addition, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm they offer complimentary soup, cheese, fruit and wine. Which is appreciated after having been skiing all day. Also, that's a good time to interact with other guests. From Frisco, you have several ski resorts within a 20-minute drive. Recommended hotel.

Our room was a bit small, and being a family of 4, we were a bit cramped as there was little space to put our suitcases. The beds, despite being comfortable, have too many covers. A single duvet would be enough.

We were greeted by the owner, Susan, who could not have been more welcoming. Frisco Lodge is the best. It's like walking into your home and feeling comfortable. The breakfast staff were great and the breakfast was yummy. I will be back as the Lodge and Frisco are so centrally located to great beauty.

I didn't like that I couldn't open the window.

The staff went above and beyond. Morning breakfast and evening wine and cheese were excellent. It was nice being around other guests at the table.

The TV only connected to a limited number of very undesireable channels. Needs to be modernized to include Smart TVs with Roku, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and I felt at home with the atmosphere of the lodge and the staff. The lodge was very cozy, and it was just what my sister and I needed. Loved the staff. Love the feeling of being at home with everyone. The hot tub is amazing!

some of the furniture in our room was not necessary and would’ve provided more space for us if it wasn’t there. I’m referring to a hutch.

Best free breakfast in any hotel/bed and breakfast that I’ve ever been in. LOVE it, plus the happy hour they have every day where they serve snacks and free wine. the staff are very accommodating, the beds are pretty comfy and the hot tub was awesome too.

No A/C. we’ve been here before and it wasn’t a problem but this time, it had to get up to 78-79 degrees in our room each night. We had multiple fans, we kept the window open and it was in the 50s at night but for some reason could not get the room to cool down. kept waking up hot. There were only two of us in a room that fit 3 too.

Right in the heart of Frisco, CO, this lodge has the feel of a 19th century “Old West” hotel. I believe it’s been here since 1885 and you can imagine yourself back in the period, or in a movie set in the Old West. Clean, good service, amenities such as coffee and free snacks available all the time, free full breakfast, happy hour with finger food and two glasses of wine included. Very comfortable common areas. With obvious attention to every detail, this lodge is not just a place to put your head down, it’s an experience.

No A/C though that’s ameliorated by open windows and fans, cooler weather due to the altitude, makes it more or less a non-issue in all but the hottest days of summer. Not really a “don’t like” but some rooms (like mine) have a shared bathroom. The owner called me immediately upon booking to make sure I knew that. Which I did but her calling me to be certain is an example of the attention to detail and dedication to guest services and satisfaction.
