South Main Residences by Surf Hotel

The penthouse apartment was sleek and comfortable. The high ceilings and decor made it easy to relax. The living room was huge and we enjoyed the fun, retro furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed and bathroom was elegant. Beds were super comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony, even in the winter.

Only a few small things: a towel ring for the hand towel and more hooks in the bathroom. And the apartment could use a full length mirror (near the bedroom hallway would work) or at least another mirror somewhere.

We loved the residence and how it was decorated. It was very clean. Free parking.

We wished the property had more mirrors. We were there for a wedding so it was tough getting ready with the only mirror being in the bathroom. Also had a bartender at the Surf Hotel bar that was very rude when trying to use the drink tokens that were provided by the property. Every other staff member was very nice though!

I really liked the kitchenette the room had. It consisted of everything you could possibly need for coffee, tea, warming things up and keeping things cold. Even had dishes and spices to cook with. The only thing it did not have was something to cook on. Maybe adding a hot plate would be beneficial.

There was nothing I did not like.

South Main by Surf Hotel is a hidden gem in Buena Vista, CO! What an amazing little condo! The room size were extremely comfortable and the condo was beautifully appointed. The staff thought of everything when they decorated and furnished the condo. The only thing I could think of as an improvement (and this is a stretch, because I can't think of anything) maybe beach towels to take to the Hot Springs. I can't wait to stay here again!

Exceptionally comfortable bed. Perfect location. Quiet despite the central location. Easy to check in and out and easy to communicate with host.

could have used some drawer space but I understand it would be a space trade off.

The hotel served no breakfast, but in our one bedroom apartment, we had a full kitchen, and therefore cooked our own breakfast, or we also had the option to go to a restaurant nearby, in Buena Vista. The apartment was very stocked, esp. the kitchen, and had everything that we needed. Lovely!

The location was perfect in such a lovely part of the town and so close to the bouldering park and river. The unit was very clean and well furnished. It has a full kitchen and a nice balcony. The bedsheets were really soft too! The hotel is nearby and has a great restaurant by the river.

Better map or directions to the unit would help as this was not part of the main hotel. The key had the wrong street written on it so an employee had to help us find it.

A sharp well equipped comfortable unit in a great scenic location. Easy access to trails by the river and walking distance to food and bars and shops.

price a-bit steep for this time of year only negative - there were no coffee cups in the unit - oversight or someone walked off w them???

Clean. Well located. Modern and well maintained. Great walking distance to the river, restaurants and park.

I could hear the adjoining rooms conversation through the walls. If blinds were open, anyone walking by can peek right in and see the entire place.

Walking distance to Eddyline restaurant and to the river side trail. Tons of room, beautifully decorated.

Needed a spatula for cooking. Extremely static-y, we ķept getting shocked even on the wood floor. Would've been nicer to have bedside tables. Nothing major though.
