Super 8 by Wyndham Buena Vista

The room was located right on the main road. Plenty of parking. The room was large and appeared clean. Loved the idea of a front door to the hall and a back door to the parking lot. Made unloading and loading my car very easy. I was lucky to get a down stairs room. If I hadn't I could not have stayed there because no elevator.

The room appeared to be clean but there was a large stain on the carpet near the front door. It brought my attention to the other stains. The know in the little refrigerator was gone. I could not turn the temperature down so my cokes were barely cool so for me...not drinkable. The mattress on the bed close to the door need replacing. When I sat on the edge I went down to the bottom. I paid $336 for 2 nights so feel this was over priced.

Breakfast was great.

Check-in was not ready at 3pm so I had to wait 1 hour before getting my room. This was an inconvenience because I drove 16 hours into town and needed to grocery shop asap so that it didn't impact my plans for the day. I had to change my plans due to late check-in.

Love the hospitality of the employees. And the pool and hot tub were functioning properly, well maintained.

Room 208; The microwave was dirty and did not rotate. The refrigerator was not working well and needs to be defrosted, ice build up inside on the condensing units. The cooling system in the king bedroom kept shutting down and thus causing for a really hot, uncomfortable nights sleep. The screen is torn on the windows, so no fresh air let in because of mosquitos and bugs.

The room was a perfect size for our large family. The breakfast was decent. It had enough options for the space that was there.

Since our room was larger, it would have been nice if there were more towels and dishes included. For the price, it just felt incomplete.

The man that helped me at the front desk was SUPER helpful. He’s so kind, and was always helping all the guest with the same amount of care. The area is safe and the hotel is old. Fits the stuck in time vibe of this town.

There was food in my hotel room from guests before. The sheets were stained, honestly questionable if they were washed. The room just smelled a bit. Expected a bit of a cleaner stay.

Like the location, clean and comfortable. Also close to family and down town.

The tub was very very slippery. I slipped and fell in the shower, very hard, and got a huge scrape on my back/shoulder.

Amy was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean both inside and out. I thought with the location being right on the main street it would make for a noisy night sleep, but no it was very peaceful. I would totally stay here on every trip to this destination. Thank you Amy and breakfast crew!😊

I thought the breakfast was excellent each morning. Special thanks to the gentleman who was at the front desk when I arrived late Friday night. I said I was hungry and he came up with some food for me. That was truly above and beyond customer service and MUCH APPRECIATED. I would stay there again in a heartbeat thanks!!

Location perfect. Near everything. Parking lot lit up very bright at night.

Everything this is my 2nd stay and will be returning for a 3rd stay in the near future

The snow could have been better plowed in the parking lot, but other than that we live this location.
