We stayed for 4 nights. We were visiting family. There is plenty to do in Glenwood Springs and a lot of dining choices.

The only issue we had, was that someone in the unit upstairs, stomped around a lot one night and I didn't understand what he could have possibly been doing. And there were 2 people, covered up under blankets, as it was pretty cold that night, sitting on chairs outside their unit near ours, smoking pot. I didn't like that at all. I felt that it wouldn't be a good environment for families with children. Other than that, for the money, and the location, we were very satisfied.

This cute little place was competitively priced so we were willing to concede comfort and such, but this room was easily accessible, adorable, comfortable with great views. The front desk staff greeted us warmly and helped us decide which springs we wanted to visit. We were just so pleased with our stay.

Coffee could have been in room; coffee maker was but packets needed were in the main office; we struggled with the tv remote but that could easily be user error. Otherwise, I don’t think the experiment could be improved.

Has an older style, but some modern updates such as added outlets at the bed lights which is always welcome. Rooms are solid and while there’s some sound transfer it’s better than most. The super deluxe room with the separate bedroom and kitchenette was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teens,and great value. Beds were comfortable, though pillows small. The ac could crank the cool air. We also used the grill and outdoor seating area for dinner. Breakfast was basic but got well used every day

This isn’t that bad but good to know -There was a coffee maker but no coffee or filters provided. You can pick these things up in town easily.

The property and exterior of the hotel are adorable, lobby area clean and welcoming. The room, a suite with a double bed and a pullout loveseat was one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in, also the most expensive despite it being a "budget" room in Glenwood Springs

Unfortunately, enjoying the room was dampened significantly by the presence of feces smeared on the bathroom doorjamb as well as the foot of the pullout mattress. It was late when we discovered both so I cleaned the door myself with antibacterial wipes, and the mattress was well-covered. It's the sort of thing I'd expect from a TRULY "budget" motel, not a room costing $260 per night. The manager was very apologetic and gave me a little cash and some coupons for our next stay.

Everything met our expectations. The room was clean and the temperature control suited the room. It was very comfortable stay,

You need a rubber bath mat or permanent friction tape in your bathtub. It was very slick, and both my daughter and I each slipped, and I nearly had an accident while taking showers. A handrail in the tub would be good as well. Perhaps your breakfast setup could be enhanced with more danishes and possibly breakfast meats, but other than that, it was good.

Breakfast was quite good. A waffle machine to make your own fresh waffles and plenty of hard boiled eggs which tasted good on toasted bagels. Coffee was good and so although this isn’t a complete breakfast (no normal eggs and bacon), with the cakes, bananas, mandarins , breakfast cereal and yogurts, there was enough food.

Wifi was barely useable due to congestion over a busy weekend. The infrastructure should be upgraded so that people get what they expect. Other hotels and stores in the area seem to have no issue, so this really comes down to cost. The heater in the room is quite loud. Made best sense to heat up the rim Before sleeping, turn off the Machine and hope to not get Too cold in the night.

We loved the “honeymoon suite”, especially the electric fireplace, which silently heated with a warm glow. There was also a jacuzzi tub, though we didn’t use it. Overall friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.

There was no elevator, so we had to lug our stuff up and down from the 2nd floor. The breakfast was just okay; the eggs and oatmeal were runny but they had a few other options like waffles, hard boiled eggs and bagels that were good.

Stayed at this place many times before and it is always the same, which is good!

The front desk person that was doing the check in was very unfriendly with other guests checkin in before me. He made pay cash for the stay to one of the guests, indicating that the credit card machine was not working, but it did work for my payment!

The room was good, and the bed was comfortable.

The only thing bad was the inconsiderate people in the room directly above us that let their child/children run back and forth at 11:30 at night (they sounded like little elephants!). They also kept thumping loudly. I know this isn't the fault of the establishment, and I blame the adults that didn't control their children. I normally don't get ground floor rooms because of that very reason, but my 86 year old mother can't climb two sets of stairs.

Always stay at Silver Spruce when we come up to Glenwood. Cozy little motel with the right value for the room. 3 Queen suite for a very affordable price, clean, quiet, close to everything in town. Friendly staff, decent room amenities, overall a satisfactory stay, and not all hotels/motels in Glenwood have been historically.

Very minor critiques only. Beds could have two pillows per person (each bed does have three) to make comfort a little better, bathroom door, vanity faucet and shower curtain need a touchup servicing, and we had to set up our TV for cable. Needed to be reset/rescanned the channels before it would work. Continental breakfast is a little on the light side.
