I reached out to the staff several times due to scheduling, a credit card that had changed expiration dates since booking my travel, and to see if we could leave extra bags.... they were ALWAYS super helpful and friendly! It was like a family run home... each person made sure that I had what I needed and each of them followed through. I'd recommend this hotel for anything! It is quiet at night, centrally located, very nice and has air conditioning. Quite comfortable, and a nice room.

I liked everything!

We had great communication with hotel staff, even though our arrival was late. The hotel was comfortable, updated and offered a continental breakfast. I appreciated that the hotel info, such as not having an elevator, was communicated clearly. The town of Ouray was idyllic, and I love that they support local (I loved the toiletries that were from another local business). We hope to return.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The room and view from the room were above our expectations. The bathrooms in the hotel room were extremely clean and well-designed. The hotel had a very comfortable and relaxing feel to it. Overall had an old-time feel with a newness to the rooms and hallway. Hard to explain, but this is a wonderful hotel that I highly recommend.

Breakfast was as advertised and decent, and the hospitality area was well kept and clean.

It would have been nice to have a refrigerator and a small table with chairs for breakfast meal in the room. Next time we will reserve a larger room for comfort but on this trip we spent little time in the room anyway so the size of the room was not an issue.

Perfect I had not even been aware that breakfast was provided. It was so nice and convenient. We enjoyed it both in the breakfast room and returning to our room to enjoy a second cup in our comfy club chairs.

I should have planned to stay longer. This was my first visit to your town. I was completely charmed.

What can I say…. one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Staff greeted us with a smile, kind, polite and helpful! Our 2 bedroom suite was beautiful and overlooked downtown and the mountains. Planning our next anniversary trip to Ouray and this hotel, quaint and romantic.

Location was perfect for walking around the town as well as accessing a local waterfall. Parking was on the street, but the spots were designated for hotel guests.

This was not the Hotel's fault. Because of the time of year, many retail stores and restaurants were closed.

Nice place with a cool history. Our room didn't have a window and was very small. No bottles of water on the property or market at the front desk if you need anything. The hotel staff is gone by 9pm. It is a fun, boutique hotel but left a few things to be desired.

No staff after 9, and no marketplace to buy items (Tylenol, water, snack, etc.)

The history of the building and hotel was extremely interesting! And the staff was wonderful. And the fresh baked muffins were great.

I think in the breakfast room they could have used a few tall tables and bar stools instead of the single table.

We booked the last room and were told it was a small interior one, which was fine for one night. We weren’t expecting much though. The room was small, but so cozy and unique. The ceiling of the wide corridor adjacent to interior rooms extends up to the roof, topped by decorative skylights providing tons of light. The room itself has windows flanking the door and a transom over it. With all the light outside your room, you definitely don’t miss a view to the street. Walk outside the hotel doors and you immediately see a brewery with roof seating, and across the street many restaurants. Bridget welcomed us to the hotel and showed us where everything was and answered our touristy questions. She was very friendly, and also knowledgeable about the hotel and town. She was a fantastic start to out stay.
