Stayed in the suite in the back of the hotel. It was a great place to stay… clean, comfortable and plenty of space. The suite was right next to the parking lot and hot tub making it very convenient. It was also separated from the hotel which made it a bit more private. Barely saw any staff or other guests the entire stay, which was great. I believe this is a newer room than the rest of the hotel so you may have a different experience if you’re staying in one of the hotel rooms.

We enjoyed two nights in this lovely old hotel conveniently located on Main Street. Easy parking right outside. Large room with period furniture- well appointed and clean with good shower. Characterful wallpaper throughout the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and an excellent restaurant right below the rooms!

The lighting in our room was very limited and it would have been good to have two bedside lights - one each side.

Check in was smooth Love being able to get coffee and tea...BUT I would move coffee pot and microwave into dinning room. Too small and poor electric service!! Great bed Good breakfast

Needs new carpet everywhere We had to heat up our dinner and eat on couches. Open dining room for your guests so they can sit at a table for dinner. Not everyone goes out for dinner!! Start breakfast service a bit earlier Make more room on counter for toast prep And serve softer butter to your guests.

This was a very cool old hotel and was nice for a quick little get away with the wife. We were hoping that it may be haunted but we didn't notice anything during our stay. The hot tub was clean and private and was just what we needed after riding the motorcycle all day.

There wasn't much to not like about this old hotel. The lack of plug-ins in the room was only a minor inconvenience but it is a very old building so it was fine.

A beautiful historic hotel. The staff was welcoming. Loved the history of the hotel and the town of Ouray. Breakfast was exceptional and plentiful. The room was inviting and comfortable. We rested well.

Just wished the Bon Ton Restaurant was completed and open. I also wished I would have asked for the recipe for the breakfast casserole that was served. It was yummy.

One of the reasons we stayed here was that it had a restaurant on site, the Bon Ton, that we were really looking forward to eating at again. The restaurant was was being remodeled and therefore closed which they failed to say anything about on their website, very disappointing.

We spent two nights the fiat night we had room 4 and the bed was hard and pillows were massive or thick, room 8 the other night was much better the bed was better and pillows too also room 8 had three fans where room 4 was lacking but it was really the bed in 4 that we didn’t enjoy it was rock hard. Otherwise it was pretty cool and had a great location.

Room 4 needs a mattress topper it’s too hard.

Charming building and friendly staff set in a fabulous location.

There was no where to set anything in the shower or out of the shower in the little bathroom. The shower leaked water onto the floor. Breakfast was chaotic - needs a better layout and system.

Great location in the heart of the town, quaint/fun Victorian decor, friendly staff, a great "B&B type" experience. The continental breakfast was decent. A little pricey, but that's all the hotels in the area.

Price was a little high, but that's the norm for the area.

This hotel was so charming. I was searching through pictures of hotels when planning my trip to Ouray and booked this place immediately when I saw the photos, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I absolutely loved the Victorian decor. We enjoyed waking up every morning to a view of the mountains out the window.
