This is a SUPERB HOTEL at a great value...given the amazing REAL and GREAT hot breakfast alone. There is literally nothing to dislike: the staff is friendly and eager to make your stay the best, excellent internet, a great bed with incredibly comfortable pillows, a great location (gas stations, restaurants strip malls on the road). This WAY exceeded my expectations which is rare these days since most hotel either meet expectations or are cutting corners and don't meet my expectaton. I THOUGHT this hotel -- a refurbished older one -- looked famliar in layout: it is a former Holiday Inn with an excellent gym room and a BIG indoor pool. You have breakfast in a reallyl nice restaurant (the hotel also has a ballroom). HIGHLY and I mean h-i-g-h-ly recommened to all who need a hotel anywhere in the New Haven area. A lot of motels in New Haven are dumps.

Everything was perfect

The room was sufficient, the pool was large, and the location was great off the highway. The staff was also so friendly!

There was no breakfast before 7 am and we had to leave before then. There is definitely construction going on so there were areas blocked off or closed. There was also a large party in the pool (about 25 people) that made it impossible for others to be in.

quick and easy check in and check out. staff helpful and friendly. nice change because some hotels are grumpy!

Indoor pool was absolutely freezing cold, but that is a pretty minor issue..

I love that it was clean, comfortable, and friendly. It was not fancy, but it over exceeded What we needed for the time. They were very cooperative when I needed to cut my stay short.

There were not enough towels.

The hotel was easy to find, easy to get checked in, the room was spacious and comfy, the beds were perfect, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good.

I felt that the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. I got a restful nights sleep before continuing my trip to the Boston area.

I would have like to be able to take my breakfast to my room.

surprisingly updated. looks clean for the most part, I felt like I could relax and not wonder about if there’s bed bugs

door to patio didn’t work smoothly, some grout in bathroom was a little dirty but not horrible.

And I called Cascades they said that you guys did shuttle service so that's why I booked there but when I left for Cascades they told me return trip would be at 10 p.m. and wedding wasn't over till midnight so I had to find another ride back to the hotel if you guys going to offer rides to the venues and you need to pick the people up when the weddings are over had I known this in the beginning I would have never stayed there
