I booked the room through booking.com. First time booking online. When I selected a one night stay, for some reason the date was prefilled...for next month. What kind of site prefills a date field with a date other than today's date? Needless to say I didn't catch the error. When I got to the hotel, Kiara realized what I did. She gave me the number to booking.com that did nothing to fix my mistake. When I went back to the front desk, Kiara was already working on getting my "no date changes" reservation fixed. Ten minutes later, I had my room with no cancelation fees for the reservation a month later plus she didn't charge me a deposit. I reckon she could tell I had a long day and just wanted my room. Please let Kiara (and her boss) know how much I appreciated her couteous and fast customer service. More people in customer service could take some lessons from her.

Breakfast. No ice for the juice and narrow selection of toast or muffins to eat.

Big room, with all facilities; microwave, little fridge, TV, AC Comfortable beds, clean, 25-30 min walk to Main Street. Definitely recommend and will consider staying at the same hotel if I visit Newark again

Breakfast could be better, not bad, but as there is microwave in rooms, we could get some food to have it hot in the morning. I booked room for 2 but I was given one bag of breakfast for a week and I was told because I am single person! I put a review to customer service after my stay and they apologised.

The room was very comfortable and I appreciated the amenities. The staff members were friendly and my check-in and check-out processes took less than 5 minutes.

The lobby doors made a very loud noise and as my room was located near the front of the hotel, the noise was quite loud, especially during the middle of the night.

The room was nice and the head desk was straight forward when I had some questions. The ac was clean so if you have allergies to dust, tis ok to be in the room.

Idk if I was supposed to get room service but i guess they skipped us the whole time I was there. I wasn't told that I would have been charged for insurance so that was a spook when I checked my transactions. Bathroom looked like it was ready to get updated. The roof of the bathroom was kind of peeling, the shower curtain and rod need to be replaced. Had to make sure I used their towels so the water wouldn't get everywhere. Shower curtain had mold on it and the rod was rusting so it was hard to dry off my towels without getting rust on it.

staff who work in front office were so lazy. they looks like they hate there job and hate the resident as well. I encourage the owner to give them some courses about welcoming and smiling at people. at moment I thought i am one of the third world company

The receptionists were friendly and very professional. Everything from room, breakfast, bed and environment were great. We were only a few minutes from the college and restaurants.

Shower door leaked a bit on to the floor. Desk chair was just okay.

Staff was attentive and friendly. Facility was clean and well kept. We appreciated the "grab and go" breakfast that was offered as the continental breakfast was suspended due to COVID.

The pillows went flat as soon as you laid your head on them, that did cause an issue for me for sleeping. With the sink outside of the bathroom, a towel bar next to the sink for a hand towel would be a welcome addition.

Property was safe and clean

Maybe it should be faster than 3 days service room cleaning. Even though towels and sheet was really clean

No breakfast. There was only a bag we could take with us and we're not into that.

I don't like the no breakfast. Restaurants are open, stores are open and still nobody wants to provide the breakfast that's advertised. The room is very nice and the beds are comfortable but our room had to lamp shades that were in tatters.
