Sheraton Suites Wilmington Downtown

Sharon checked us in on Friday night was OUTSTANDING. Very helpful and went out of her way to see that we parked safely, etc. ALL of the staff at this hotel were terrific - from the front desk to the wait staff at the breakfast buffet. I would say as a group they were among the best I've seen.

Parking lot was full so we had to park on the street, with a baby. Happily the area around the hotel was well lit but we were pan handled as we were unloading the car - not the greatest first impression.

The King Suite was very clean, comfortable, spacious, modern, well equipped, with a wonderful shower. Outstanding in every way. The exercise room was clean, extensive, with a lot of equipment. Complimentary Starbucks coffee in the lobby every morning was a nice bonus.

No housekeeping service! I was appalled! We stayed for 3 nights. Nobody ever came to clean the room, make the bed, bring new towels, empty the garbage, nothing! Underground parking was limited, very tight, but manageable. I had a Jeep Cherokee, and it was a challenge to park. Don't bring anything bigger than a mid-sized SUV. No swimming pool.

Our “king bed” room was outstanding, bed was VERY comfortable, bathroom, kitchenette, and living room were immaculate and roomy. Excellent stay,,

Underground parking was not so great; parking spaces were VERY tight; would also have felt better if there was some type of security in the parking garage. Also. . . Having to pay $12 per person for breakfast buffet and then pay $16 dollars each night for parking (two nights) was not expected and very disappointing.. at least one or the other of these extra charges could/should have been included with the price of the room.

Easy to find location, quick check in, on-site parking, spacious, comfortable rooms, great views, and cordial staff. Breakfast available. Restaurant was still closed due to Covid-19, but plenty of options for food delivery.

The room was exactly as shown in the photos - beautiful, well equipped and functional. The shower was amazing and the bed very comfortable. I loved the thoughtfulness that went into equipping the room - the bathroom mirror had a nightlight option, the working station had usb and regular plugs on the center of the table, tv remote controls were disinfected and placed in a separate bags, the bed didn't have the dirty useless cover that serves no purpose (as is usually the case in hotel rooms)... I immediately regretted spending only one night in this room. Parking is available on the spot, underneath the hotel building, which was very useful.

The hotel was renovated recently, but some of the old infrastructure remained. The elevators are old and very slow, the toilet bowl doesn't match the overall new refurbishment of the bathroom and the vent could have been better.

The room was a great size and very comfortable. It is very pet friendly, I took my lovable docile pitbull and no one even batted an eye. There is a small park directly across the street for him to go potty. A plus, the hotel is very big about security. The parking garage has a gate that closes at midnight so your vehicle is secure and there is 24 hour desk service so if you need anything they were there to accommodate. I’m also a bathroom snob and it is a deciding factor of me picking a hotel. I look for stand alone showers and I have to say that the shower in our room was a 10.

The food court closes at 9:30am which is great for people who are early birds but would have been better if it stayed open until 11am for those of us who like to sleep in.

the housekeeping was not good bathrooms were not cleaned properly after stay we ask if they would only clean the bathroom and replenish the towels staff only half cleaned the bath tub not the toilet or sink or mop the floor and we tipped her only to find out after we came back to the room that nothing was done

I thought the facility was so clean and comfortable! The queen suite we had was perfect for our stay. I had a girlfriend in town and we just wanted to have a girls night in. The beds were comfortable and it was really convenient for us to go to dinner and a walk that day. Also, shout out to the front desk staff. He was wonderfully accommodating and helpful and shared with us how hard the Sheraton was working to keep a high standard despite being extremely short staffed especially with the cleaning crew. They did not miss a beat! And we didn’t miss not being at the Riverfront.

The only negative I had was that bc of the staffing was that there was not a restaurant and the small cafe that was open in the morning was very limited. The front desk was very upfront about it so we planned ahead but it would be an even better stay (on top of a great stay) if the food options were expanded.

The junior suite was roomy and comfortable. Having breakfast available on site was a plus, as was the location, which was a few blocks from my office.

Entering the hotel to check in was a bit confusing at first, as there was a sign in the revolving door that said to go to the side entrance, but it wasn't clear that it was the next door down from the revolving door, because the door next to the front desk faced the street, not the driveway.

We stayed in the facility once previously. We selected it because we could walk to many locations. The facility is near the theater where we were attending a show. The temperature of the room was constant. The city is easy to navigate.

Parking is very close and difficult to navigate. The room is as advertised, but it is focused on function over comfort. The restaurant was closed and eating options were limited.
