After a debacle at another hotel, upon my arrival, I found the Bahia Mar. Right from the beginning, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Because I had just booked the room on the booking app, my reservation wasn't showing in their system. The young lady at the desk took her time and found it, and it was nothing but good times from that point on. They made every penny spent worth it. Easy access to the beach, the pool area was always clean and even the staff there were very nice. I always saw someone cleaning the areas of the hotel and being accommodating. The restaurant staff took very good care of me as well. I was just overall pleased with this hotel.

Final bill was incorrect and never reimbursed. Not the price agreed on on Bookings. Very overpriced…. The pool bar was ridiculously overpriced. They give you vouchers for drinks but the bartender said we could use them for water or soda but that’s not what the voucher said! A little disappointing. My niece that went with us was disappointed as well and canceled a future booking for April.

The location is probably a 10 minute ride from the airport. The location on the beach is beautiful. It has its own private bridge from the resort to the beach. The room we had was facing the boat docks, it was a beautiful view and very quiet on property.

I didn't like that the lobby and the main dining area for breakfast were very busy and a bit confusing when you needed to get a table. The hotel might consider using the coffee shop they have to seat more guests or have an appointed hostess on staff to manage the guests in the lobby/dining area. It was noisy and the set up seemed very chaotic.

the hotel is next to the beach the hotel is forcing the guests to pay mandatory fee of about 40 $ per room for using those facilities but it was not mentioned while doing the reservation

The cable service was horrible I called for a tech they came they still couldn’t get it to work right I called several times very very disappointing and how that was manage the TV service is the worst I’ve ever seen in any hotel I couldn’t get any local channels I spoke to the staff about the situation they could not resolve it I hope we could do better than next time if there is a next time because the folks need to know that the cable service was horrible and there were other gas in the hotel stayed at the same thing so that needs to be changed immediately

The staff were professional, nice, and very helpful. I had read the reviews on several sites and there were many concerns about the hotel being under staffed and the construction going on. There appeared to be enough staff during my stay and during the busy season, I didn’t have to wait too long for service. My request were answered/completed quickly. In regards to construction, construction appeared to be done on the inside. I only saw painters working on the crosswalk and pool area. It didn’t Interfere with my trip or enjoyment of the resort.

During peak time, the elevators took longer to arrive. This was expected and just required patience. Not an issue to ding the hotel. I would have like more drink choices with the two a day coupons.

Everything is excellent here great location close to everything really no need for a vehicle what if you have one that's great as well you can travel to places like a Everglades tour at Holiday Park highly recommend

;) there is nothing at this place that I don't like except for staying on a higher floor the elevators at certain times of the day tend to take longer

Location was great and the room was very clean. Like the fact that we had partial view of the ocean and of the marina. Having the beach just a walk away was great.

The way we were treated when we first got there because of a mistake from a 3rd party was really rude. I think it could of been handle differently. She showed no emotion during this time. She showed that she didn’t care and showed that she wasn’t going to help. Another thing I didn’t like was the crowd in the lobby. Every time you either got on or off the elevators there was a. Rows of people just hanging out there. Too crowded-not good for people with anxiety.

The location was hreat. Breakfast buffet was excellent and delicious coffee. Nice to look at the boats in the marina. THEY ACCEPT PETS!!!!!

No microwave in the room.

The hotel was excellent. I’m glad I didn’t go by the reviews. The employees were amazing. I was expecting my balcony to be a bit bigger.. other than that the rooms are good. Breakfast was perfect!! My waiter Patrina was amazing. So professional and helpful!! Valet was excellent. And the night chef was also great!!
