Coconut Bay Resort

Apartement is very big so for families recommending. Free parking. Pool area with jacuzzi very nice. Grills ready to use. Good company. Water with boats behind the hotel so nice atmosphere.

young lady at the front desk very rough. Asked her for a late check out and she said not possible at all but 10.30am should be ok. So 30min later than usual check out. I said to her she should put a note in her computer that everybody knows we stay 30min longer. Check out day at 10am she called me we should immediately check out. Thanks for nothing young lady. Please realize in hotel business you should treat people more friendly because they paying a lot of money.

I adore the tropical style! It was exactly what you'd expect from a classic Florida place. The arrival and check-in process were very easy and fast, perfect instructions about the arrival. The room was incredibly comfortable with all the necessary amenities.

The apartment could use a better cleaning; it lacks that fresh, clean smell.

These are small apartments with galley kitchens, which my family loved because we could eat most of our meals in. GREAT location for walking; just steps from the beach and The Bonnet House. The property and facilities are very clean. The residents and staff are very helpful and friendly. The pool area has lots of bbq gas grills and is a great place to hang out. We loved it so much we would come back and stay a week just to chill.(our agenda this time was a Caribbean Cruise).Very laid back vibe here.

These are just a couple of things to note: Check out is 10am. That was early for our needs but they were nice about letting us hang out by the pool area until we left for the cruise port. And you won't have housekeeping unless you stay a week, so be conservative with your towels. They do give pool towels, so we managed to make do.

The location is great.

The fact that my shower didn’t work and when I told them they said it does work, being in maintenance and in the military I know when something is not operating. I asked for a little discount since we couldn’t shower for 2 days had to go out back to shower. I was told “Great take care be safe.”

Overall, the entire facility was a great experience. The room was a perfect, comfortable fit for us. The management was VERY helpful, accommodating our request and polite. We will be a return stay in 2025.

While we were in the the room, the maintenance people came in and switched the bed mattress on the single beds. We were told that housekeeping would be in to change and make up the bed. When we returned at 9pm, the beds were still not made up. Bed linens were still on the floor. No one had been in our room.

It was Thanksgiving. We informed the resort we would be arriving late and they responded with instructions for a lockbox on the door with the key to get in. The condo was very clean, equipped with essentials and comfortable. I went out to my vehicle and the facility manager was passing by. He cheerfully greeted me, welcoming us to the resort and let me know the pool/jacuzzi was open 24hrs. He said he had cooked dinner for everyone at the resort that day. I would definitely recommend and I am sure the next time I stay in Ft. Lauderdale, it will be there.

We only stayed overnight for a cruise. I found nothing I did not like during that short stay.

Location was great, loved walking to the beach, loved the balcony off the master bedroom, ….clean apartment, comfortable beds and pillows…pool towels already in my room…late check in was no problem…staff was friendly and helpful

I found it odd that there was only 1 full length mirror in the 2nd bedroom, and not one in the master…glad there was one though

Room was great looked well kept and updated . Appliances looked new. Pool and hot tub area was very inviting and has three gas grills for use . Parking is FREE like it should be , many places in Fort Lauderdale want another$15- $30 dollars a day to park your car. also has pool towels and some beach chairs when available. Also many places to eat in walking distance. Beach just a short easy walk .

We were upgraded to a larger space. Had no idea but we were pleasantly surprised and gracious. It was much needed and appreciated.

The fact that the AC wasnt great at keeping the space cool. So it was quite warm at certain times. The room flyer states that you cant set the AC below 72. But the room felt warmer than 72 most of the time.

Pool facilities were lively and clean! Five minute walked to the beach, beautiful views! Plenty of space for six people comfortably, clean space, laundry facilities were super helpful. We had an evening flight and staff and facilities were accommodating to allow us the use of the pool until checkout. Nearby restaurants were enjoyable, however the full kitchen within the unit was also very helpful!

Neither of our reasons below are a direct reflection on the resort but rather accommodations that would have made our stay even more wonderful. Beach didn’t offer any type of accommodations for chairs or umbrellas through this resort (not even for a cost). Instead we opted to purchase for one day delivery through Amazon as the sun was very strong to be out all day without shade. Cost of airport transportation arranged through the hotel exceeded that of an Uber.
