Great budget inn. Exceptional value. Newly remodeled, new paint. I typically stay at Drury, but they were over $250 per night. So I took a chance with Gator Town. It is family owned and the friendly family really show pride in the place. They were very accommodating and cleaned the room every day. We were there for 5 days. Zero bugs. Coin laundry next door with Cafe and coffee. It cost me half the price of the Drury.

Only issue was the strong smell from cleaning products, which my wife was happy about. I guess this is a good thing!

it was so nice and quiet ! we had a nice little corner room upstairs. bed was actuall very comfortable! right in between soft and firm. room appeared clean and hous keeping came by couple times that week to straighten up long as we left sign off door. the best part…soooo close to several popular and beautiful swimming springs I. central and west Florida. 3 only 30 mins and 3 more good one about an hour away. Beach is but far 2-3hrs but if you don’t mind the drive to clear water it’s beautiful. beautiful grounds to have cook out or picnic and quaint little pool to swim. also this amazing laundromat called fresh laundry and cafe immediately beside the hotel. being we swam every single day had to use them few times. load your card with the money buy a nice hot coffe or delicious smoothie and relax I. the prestige clean facility to wait on cloths. I was In heaven. wish we had one back in NC. excellent eating places are a mere 10 minute drive down Cheesecake Factory, maple street biscuit , chopstix and peach valley Cafe were my favorite and Bes Better Burgers (must visit) 30 mins near springs . nice museum also near by. there was so much to do. we NEVER got bored!

: room had one slim window not enough light could get in room during day. also our room smelled a little dank and wet…they used a heavy deodorizer which smelled ok at first but then it smelled like someone spilled alcohol in the room. but not a deal breaker I just think needs a bit more ventilation and please have one larger trash can and somewhere to take our trash out. I usually took our garbage out daily to the picnic area when I remembered. nats kept getting in the room and I wanted to keep pest down.

This Inn became the perfect location for us while we settled our ‘Baby Gator’ into UF. It is conveniently located near enough to the University; a ground floor room allowed for ease of movement of luggage and packages; staff were all helpful and room was clean, with reliable Wifi, comfortable beds, a mini fridge and micro. Highly recommended. Don’t let the word ‘Inn’ lead to doubts. Free parking and a well kept pool on property.

We had a great 10 night stay! Would stay again.

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Adequate supply of bath linens for one person. Staff friendly and helpful. No evidence of bugs (hate to say that but everyone always says roach infested etc in their reviews). Ice available at the complex. No trash or cigarette butts littering parking and sidewalks.

Lighting in room was not good. No lamps or wall lighting - all overhead with harsh bulbs. Water had a slight sulfur smell but I don't think that was the fault of the hotel.

It's nothing fancy for sure but the outside is cute. It's clean and comfortable enough to get a few hours of sleep to get back on the road.

We didn't get there until 1am or so due to various circumstances that couldn't be helped and you can't go inside because it's closed. You go to a window in the back and push a button. I waited and nothing happened. I tried calling and I could hear it ringing from the inside but nobody picked up and nobody came to the window. I tried going to the front again. Nothing. I went back to the window and still nothing. About the time that I was about to have to find a new hotel (after I had already paid) somebody finally came to the window. Then their system wasn't working so they finally just gave me a key and told me to come back to straighten it all out first thing in the morning. It was resolved quickly the next morning.

I enjoyed that for the most part it was quite there and all the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and looked undated. I was in town for a big event at Soldiers Freedom Outdoors site to raise money for all returning Veterans that may need a little help caused by the effects of war. The motel has a pavilion off to the side where my of us Veterans could hang out and just talk to each other. I most definitely stay there again.

. The only issue I had with the motel was that when I got home I found out I was charged for a extra day. I called and the problem came from when I made reservations when a booking company that they one night was automatically deducted from my debit card that I used and when I got to the motel I used another card that was charged for to 2 nights that I stayed there. Wish there were a better way to control this. I called the motel and was told that the extra night charge would be taken off my account in a week or two. I will be watching for the credit to added back to my account.

The room was decent. It was cozy and inviting with the way it was decorated and how it looked. The young lady working in the office was super nice. The room seemed to be clean.

The bed and the chairs at the table seemed to be so old there were permanent imprints of others in both. So that made the bed rather lumpy and in the chair, it felt as if your simply sitting on a plank of wood.

The beds was comfortable and the room was nice and clean and cozy and in the right place and right across the street from IHOP where my husband and I enjoyed eating breakfast.

Only thing I didn't like was that somebody children was running and playing in front of our door while we was trying to sleep had to call the front desk and tell them somebody with children playing in front of our door after the phone call it got very quiet the staff took care of it and I really appreciate it.

You have a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, & smoking rooms. We stayed at the Red Roof inn for the 1st two days. They didn't have any of those amenities & all their rooms were no smoking rooms.

I was there for Tuesday & Sunday's Gator basketball games, but didn't pay any attention to the fact that Gator football was in town. For two of the 5 nights I was in town I was paying an extra amount of money for nothing.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. I was traveling alone to visit my son at UF. I felt very safe there, it was a short drive to the campus and very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

The only thing that would have been nice was a bedside lamp. Although the recessed lighting was fine too.
